Boycott Freddy - solo queue
Just throwing out there quite a lot of people including myself have started to boycott every Freddy game. Just giving us up to die straight away.
Feel free to join if you think Freddy and all his games are total bull.

Devs said they're gonna be looking at Freddy. Expect to see some changes next Chapter or next mid-chapter patch.

Freddy is overrated. He isn´t half as good as people believe. Your "boycott" only inflates his kill rate artificially and ruins the game for your teammates.

And what exactly is the objective of your boycott. Are you trying to get him removed or nerfed?
Because removed wont happen, and for a nerf you are goimg about it the wrong way by dcing.

Solo Q here and I actually really enjoy playing against Freddy.... not sure if it's because I main Quentin but a lot of Freddy meme with me :x
I don't like the slowdown addons, but otherwise, I think Freddy is fine.

It's not a problem with Freddy it's a problem with you and your team. I've never had any real issues going against Freddy in solo. Maybe getting better at the game would help you out? People like you are a problem you have a loser mentality and you're just bad for the game. I have never quit a game because ohh I don't like this map or I don't like this killer.

There are far worse killers to play against than Freddy in solo queue. Just saying.

Solo queue in a nutshell: don't focus at all on your own gameplay or improving it. Instead, focus on the tactics or gameplay of literally everyone else. People want solo queue to improve? Get better at the game. Safe pallets are still safe against snares. Get off gens and move your camera when you hear the lullaby. I've looped Freddy for 5 gens on more than one occasion. He's an M1 killer.

I almost never see Freddy. Don't know why so many people are hating a killer that is rarely being used.

Every single match Freddy is wrecking you & everyone you know? Brutal.
It's been said over and over again but I guess saying it again wouldn't hurt: it's the player not the killer. I have went against beast Fred's that had me riding the struggle bus the entire match, then I have went against Fred's that had no idea how to play him and relied heavily on teleport, I have went against Fred's that didn't get a hook for the match, and I have went against Fred's that DC because 1 gen remained and they didn't even get a hit off.
In my experience (and I am a solo survivor) it's usually the new players asking for (or should I rephrase that to demanding) nerfs.
Some players feel they shouldn't be bothered with having to wake up even though it makes the match go a lot smoother. When in chase you won't have to worry about blood pool slowdowns, aura pallets, and so on from being in dream.
A lot of people tend to run when blood starts splattering from the gen. There is an auditory warning when Fred begins to teleport, then a small delay when Freddy starts emerging and it can be quite disorienting to a lot of Freddy players once the animation ends and they are left trying to figure out which way they are facing whille looking for scratches. This leaves plenty of time to creep away as soon as the sound begins. Running does nothing but leave a trail right to the survivor making the match only harder for everyone else when they have to stop gens to go pull you.
Point is Freddy isn't impossible, the person playing the killer might just be good and take more effort to win against. Boycotting something because it's hard for you is just silly, especially when you want everyone to suicide on the hook like, "Freddy is too hard for me, I am gonna tantrum my way on outta here. Solidarity MF"

Seems like Freddy is getting more hate than Spirit at the moment. When the devs said they were nerfing him I guess that justified in survivors mind how "BS" he was even though he's not the top killer.

To be fair, that's definitely a you thing.
Half the killers i've been up against today have been Freddy, for a reason I can only surmise is something close to paying off a karmic debt.

Your teammates probably depipped because of you but it is your choice. No one is forcing you to play.
Personally I would never suicide just because I am facing certain killer.

Ok just seen this. Picked Freddy for once and survivors fast vaulting over and over for attention then trying to give up on hook until someone farmed them.
I don't want to hear survivors on here talk about "cry baby killers" ever again because this is how you act in game. You did it with Spirit, you did it with Nurse, you did it with Legion, and now you rage quit against Freddy.
Maybe I should go afk when I see a DH for distance right?
Pathetic.
For what it's worth I let them bleed out on the floor. If you refuse to play you're not getting the easy way out. The other 2 survivors were trying so I let them go

I enjoy a good freddy match, maybe if teammates could learn to play without a bs DC or blaming design when facing a decent player, we could all have some fun matches against him. Bad teammates have no effect on my experience in solo.

I had two different people DC in two different matches in a row today the moment they saw I was playing Freddy. Hey, what's a more inclusive way of telling someone to just man up? Because whatever it is, people like this should be doing it.

I mean if you are in solo queue please stop that. Don't ruin the game for your teammates and everyone else.
However, that being said, I have actually been avoiding playing Freddy currently it does not feel fair. I also have been avoiding playing Huntress. That's of course my decision, not everyone is going to be willing to do that; and you shouldn't punish your team.
If you have no intention of playing the game then please do not queue up at all; or play with your own group. Do not spoil the game for others because of your own personal vendettas.

The problem with Freddie is similar to Doctor - they are both 'anti-fun'. Not that they are harder to play vs than other killers, but they just are annoying to play against as you cant really counter their abilities.

Freddy is definitely my least favorite killer to go against but DCing or killing yourself on hook just because it's a killer you don't like going against is just kinda sad and is unhealthy for the game.

Honestly I think Freddy is fine but his Swing Chains and Jump Rope addons should be reworked. Those two addons are hella ridiculous. Also maybe remove the ability to fake gen teleports by making it so you can't cancel it, and that's about it.

Playing video games is for fun. 99% of Freddy games on solo end up exactly the same. Giving copious BP to Freddy and getting practically nothing in return even if you prolong the game. No thanks. Get out and move on.

Well it's your choice, but it is a ######### thing to do. You should try and come to terms with the fact that, while yes videogames are for fun and entertainment, in almost every game (multiplayer games especially) there will be those 1 or 2 things that are miserable to deal with and suck the fun out of the game. DbD just so happens to have MUCH more than 1 or 2 things. But you should definitely try and stick it out so you and your teammates can have an actual match and not go straight back to a lobby and loading screen simulator all because you don't like that one thing.
I despise playing against Spirit, and I'll never enjoy it, but I don't immediately run to her and hand myself over, there's no point. It's better to just suck it up and get on with the match.
