It's more like "better hide until the other guy dies, so I can use the hatch" from both of the guys left alive, honestly. It makes perfect logical sense if there's still two gens left, but it's still so tiresome. You're essentially left to just wander the map aimlessly until they escape or you get lucky, and that's without getting into how bad it feels for your teammate to essentially become your selfish enemy.

Just once I want to see a Survivor give the last sacrifice to Killer, just one time.

Unless you built specifically to fish keys you aren't getting a key.

    Surely you know that.

I mean sure you might get lucky but that's probably a 4% chance of fishing a key at that stage. If even that. With the proper build fishing a key is about 50% chance per match. Without it good luck.

This is the smart play for survivors. Hide, hope other guy gets caught first, then make a play for the hatch. Even then the odds are against you killer has a much better chance of finding the hatch, and then you're dead. That's hwy it's acceptable to have the key so the survivor has a 4% chance of surviving.

God I had this on a corn map, whenever I found this Adam or Meg they'd just dissapear seconds after, they ended up being the last two people and the game extended to over 30 mins because I couldn't find them

Or you know... just be productive or find the hatch first... you don't need a key....

I have plunderers so yes, in a 2 player head to head I will search remaining chests as pink keys appear at a rate of about 1 in 12 so there's a good chance of getting out. Apart from that, i ll sabo hooks and break totems to earn points and get the killer involved.

God I hate this situation so much.

There absolutely needs to be a time limit put in yesterday. No match should ever last longer than thirty minutes, and even that is still a bit too long for me.

As survivor i'll usually just run toward the killer if it seems the only other remaining survivor is hiding instead of doing objectives.

Don't do that. Snitch on the hiding one instead so they don't get rewarded for doing it and learn their lesson.
