Pls Stop spamming Gen regression perks!!
I just say that it's not necessary to bring Ruin/Pop/Noed/Sloppy every god damm game! Just Had 5 Killers in a row who bring atleast 3 slowdown perks in one Trial. It's just spamming in this point.
The Devs need to look at when bringing more then one Gen regression perk and make sure that it's NOT Impossible to Play the game when you do.
It's like Freddy as a perk.

Killer's job is to stop gens from being done.
Survivors' job is to do gens.
Both sides will use the Most Effective Tactics Available. Somehow, survivor are still able to pump gens despite them.

Bruh, when was the last time you saw a killer win a game vs a DECENT, not even great but DECENT team without running slow down perks? The answer is never, because gen speed is stupidly fast and slow down perks are required to even stand a chance as killer. Stop crying and moaning and learn to actually last in chases instead of just complaining that they undid your progress that took literally no effort on your part to get.

Killers will stop spamming slowdown when survivors stop spamming second chances.
In other words, not til both are needed to oblivion.

If the Trials didn't last for 5 minutes without any regression perks then I wouldn't take any.

Unfortunately most killers are based on chase with little pressure so it makes sense to run regression perks.
Some killers like Freddy or spirit don’t have to run them but at that point you might as well go full sweat and run regression with meta killers
If they add more good chase or tracking perks maybe they’d be inclined to run them?

Bamboozle is used a lot on bubba and billy but otherwise most killers like slinger huntress and PH have no problems with windows it’s with pallets
Whispers is hard to use effectively and most people would rather just have barbecue
I’m all ears is killer dependent with only PH and nurse imo getting good use out of it

Only two of the perks you listed regress generators and one of them could be cleansed within seconds of the match starting? I personally only use PGTW as I like to use a build that helps me in chase, whilst tracking and to slow down generator repair, but if a killer wants to bring 4 perks that help to slow down generator progress, that’s their choice.
I once went against a Legion using Ruin, Undying, Dying Light and Thanatophobia and everybody still managed to escape. Against a sufficient team of survivors, those generators are being repaired regardless.

bamboozle: oh no, youre vaulting a window, let me just run over to this other loop real quick
Whispers: not a chase perk, its a tracking perk and only useful early and late game
Im all ears: actually pretty decent despite the cooldown, bit a lot of the plays are easy to guess anyway
yeah, too weak. a chase perk will save 5 seconds, a regression perk will save 20

I mean this is like asking survivors to not run DS or BT. While I love surge it just can’t stop multiple survivors good enough.
Mindbreaker is interesting but is only good on stealth killers Imo also some survivors don’t run exhaustion perks
Dragons grip is interesting but will only work once especially against SWF
Blood favour is just terrible

If you are arguing against that you clearly don’t play purple/red rank killer. Of 16 perk slots you can usually expect upwards of 12 of them to be second chance perks.
You load into a game, down someone within 30~ seconds. On BBQ you see 3 survivors on 3 separate gens. Without pop, ruin, or the strongest killers in the game; you are now relegated to tunneling the heck out of whoever you just hooked to have any sort of chance whatsoever.

Gen progression is unbalanced, is actually so damn fast that makes perks like Corrupt, pop or ruin a mandatory if you want to compete.
So yeah this post makes no sense.

You want proof, look at the perk stats. The one thing they are actually good for us showing how commonly certain perks are run.

What do you mean? The whole survivor meta is built around 2nd chances? DS, Dead Hard, BT, Unbreakable, ... . Don't get me wrong, I don't blame them for using those perks. They're the strongest survivor perks, hence why they're meta.
Personally I don't see a problem with killers sacrificing a lot of perks slots on gen regression. If they're confident enough they'll find survivors and don't need tracking perks, don't need bloodpoints, or are confident enough they'll perform well in a chase without chasing perks, why wouldn't you use gen regression perks?
As long as it's balanced, I don't mind. Old Forever Freddy, or maybe even current Freddy slowdown add ons are an example of were this wasn't the case, and then I'm all for change.

while I personally dont play like that (but then also full disclosure I have not been playing killer for a long time now), I would argue that for the killer its more fun because they have to worry less about gens getting done and can focus more on just playing the game.
for survivors its more stressful because the progress they make gets undone quick

Oh that never happens. Or very, very rarely. Unless we screw up royally or try something goofy, I´s impossible to stop survivors from doing gens without good slowdown. Until this day, there is no Killer that can chase 4 different Survivors off 4 different gens haha

Well if you´re not so great yet as Survivor and your mates aren´t either, gen slowdown can be a pain in the butt, but trust me a good team like mine could never lose unless the Killer plays really well and brings lots of slowdown. Practice looping a bit and sit on gens, and you will win a lot more!

Yeah having a good premade is an absolute game changer. There´s like 2 or 3 Killers that, when played very well, are a threat while the others just aren´t. But solo players, if they can loop just a bit and sit on gens, will come pretty close!

Until the devs nerf it I will bring whatever gen regression perks I please.
It's a strong option and I am not a good killer so I'll take what I can get. Or would you prefer I hit you with a slug build? I either do gen regress or that. Third Seal + KO, I love running that build.

There are people out there who would leave their teammates to die, all for the sake of flying through gens.
Bringing gen-regression perks is sadly a necessity. I’m sure there’s Killers who would like to try something new, but could risk a lot by doing so.
