I got a 3 minute ban because of someone else

Hello. I am fairly new to the game and I just want to make the people in charge aware that the killer disconnected and not me. Why am I getting a three minute lockdown because someone else DC? Please explain it; and I hope the Devs of this game amend this unfair policy.

    Devs don't care to such a degree, that they will just reccomend you to play something else, while waiting for a ban to lift...

    Is it possible you actually did lose connection? In my experience often in cases where I DC'd due to an internet issue, it looks as if it was the killer who DC'd from my perspective.

    You should not get the DC penalty if the killer disconnected and you didn't, you should just be sent back and able to go for another game. Unless it was a bug (wouldn't be surprised) you probably lost connection which would give you the DC penalty as it still affects other peoples gameplay.

    The DC penalty in general is flawed, can't tell the difference between a real DC and someone's PC or console crashing, and if you're unlucky enough to have a chain of crashes or your internet going out constantly then enjoy bans that last hours
