*edit: The problem has already been acknowledged and has a dedicated thread to it. Posted too quickly, my bad.
I've noticed that it happens fairly often. I get pips, the red bar fills up and shows either safety, one or two pips and then the little diamonds above the rank itself behave accordingly, but then the pip disappears.
Or the red bar fills up above safety pip and the text above says -1 pip. Like so:
At first I thought it was because of the red envelops, the BPs you get are shown on the scoreboard at the end of the match so I thought the bug was that you got too many BPs so you didn't actually pip. But this match I wasn't using an envelope so that's definitely not it.
