Why are Keys so broken?

So to set on thing clear,

i'am a killer main who never says things without seen the other side.

Moris were to powerful and thats why i was against them. But Keys are also to powerful and dont require any skill. The problem is that the real game for killers starts at the end of the game. Because when survs did genrush they get 3 gend. Its there own fault if they rush without planning. But at this important part many survivors use a key and get away with it.

You can't do anything when survivors switch in the last second to a character with a key. And if they bring Annotaded Blueprint its a 100% Escape. But if you slug one time to end the game faster for Key users you get messages of salty trash.

Keys should be nerfed in my opinion. At least there should be a timer which doesnt lets you switch to another character or chose a new item.

(Like the last 15 seconds)

Or Keys only can be used if Killer closes the Hatch once.

[Killer puts kinda lock on it which can be opened by survivors]

I personally would be totally fine with it

    But only the green key is broken. And that one doesn’t deserve a nerf..

    I don’t think they are too broken for solo Q, just hatch offering SWFs really. Killers have plenty of busted addons still that are just as strong if not better

    The fact though that a killer can lose 2-3 kills they would have gotten for one person bringing in a brown offering and a purple key is just too strong. There aren't many busted addons now for killer anyway, Iri head for huntress is getting reworked and clown is a bad killer in general so red heads finger isn't very effective, there are some OP addons for certain killers, but that's only available on that killer and most of these broken addons are iridescent quality, so keys do need a rework or nerf of some kind, just like mori, otherwise I would like them to revert the mori change as it has a similar effect to keys.

    There shouldn't be a "get out of jail free card" in any PvP game. It's stupid and nonsensical.
