Rift extention?
Is there any plans to extend the rift for this horrendous patch cycle? Obviously everyone thought 4.5.0 was a disaster due to both bugs and general dissatisfaction with the updates, but at least the game was technically playable. Since 4.5.1 I have barely been able to play at all. Every time I launch the game I get tons of errors with trying to join lobbies and even a couple crashes in game (love a DC penalty when your game is so bugged it's constantly crashing). This patch is actually LITERALLY unplayable. as in I can't play because the game won't allow me. I know I'm not the only one as well, I watch a lot of streamers on twitch and have seen similar issues with them and have seen discussion in the chat. I think its only appropriate to extend the rift, given the state of the game.
Also, I ran into 4 different bugs just trying to get this posted. Even the dead by daylight out of game experience is super buggy.

There has never been one in the past, so I wouldn't expect one this time either.

Why don't they disable the DC penalty till they fix all the bugs

I think they have plans to reduce the grind next tome but I’m not sure about that

well they reduced the "grind" for tome 2 and 3 then tome 4 ended up having a grind as did 5...... so yea this one has it... doubt they will change it since they realized that doing 2 killers and 2 survivors was too much (6 of each done by tome 3 and they don't have enough to keep going so they just removed the extra one each and removed their challenges and did not replace them. doubt it'll change.
very few of the bugs caused crash issues so why should they? becuase you decided to break the rules they should disable it so you can keep breaking the rules? lol you're funny.

If the game was literally unplayable, then sure, I'd understand wanting the extension, but it was playable albeit frustrating for some.

What annoys me is that there are rumors for future rifts having a reduced grind. That's what I've heard on Twitter but it's unconfirmed. If that IS true, then why the hell wouldn't they apply at least some of those changes to the rift that JUST STARTED?

But it literally is unplayable. I haven't been able to complete a game since 4.5.1 dropped (including the new update yesterday) because the game crashes every time.

Well that must be an issue on your part then, as I nor anyone I know has been having these issues.
