After a two week break I am playing again...
and honestly, I don't miss the bullying it doesn't shock me tho. I'm honestly not as good as I was back then, and I get that I'm gonna have to relearn it all, but it's just a weird feeling. I will admit, it feels semi-good to be back, but I just feel weird being back.

Firstly welcome back! And yeah toxicity unfortunately is something the devs can’t really solve though this new chat filter might be nice to help alleviate it

Yeah, I think the new chat filter is the first step though. It's great to see you too man, it just amazes me that a game like DBD lasted this long, let alone get this much popularity. Although I do believe there are good people within the community like yourself and others, we just aren't the loudest. I'm probably just looking for something to lift my hopes, and it'll take me a while to readjust to playing again, and the toxicity isn't helping. Either way its great to see you man

Yeah I play more survivor than killer but dealing with even your teammates at times can be infuriating. This game only lasted so long due to lack of competition and constant new content

That too, but that's why I have high hopes for Dark deception Monsters and Mortals, so it can rival DBD, and give the devs a reason to care.

I'm stupid so I'll probably be back too but this is the first time I've gone through the steps of uninstalling so hopefully having to take the added step of reinstalling will make me realize that it's an awful idea and not do it
Fourth game in a row with some asshat clickity click doing everything they can to make the game miserable for me and I'm just ######### done with it. Good luck with coming back, hope you don't get driven away ASAP by #########.

I feel ya. I uninstalled during the fiasco that was the Twins chapter. Now I check the forums here and there to see if it's worth coming back to yet, and BHVR has consistently made it clear that I made the right choice back in December.

I'm sick of this ######### pattern of getting pissed off at this game, shutting it off, playing again, and getting pissed off all over again. I feel like every week I'm making a "I should quit but I'm too ######### stupid to actually do it" post so I'm really hoping this time it actually sticks and I won't be coming back.

I had finished the tome 4 level 2, which was the latest one. and came back when tome 5 was already finished and closed.

honestly I don't understand the devs, they're ruining themselves. Why'd u change an absolute perfect HUD, which everyone liked and nobody complained about? This new HUD, even tho it was a bit updated, it still sucks.

Honestly, I don't even blame the devs for my issue. This game is designed as more of a party game rather than an e-sports kind of game. But then once you get survivors who know how to take advantage of all the things designed to make the game fun for the casual player, it's inevitable that there will be groups of survivors that min/max their way into being damn near impossible to beat.

Yeah, I just stick with playing Overwatch for my PvP. Sure, we're not getting any new heroes or maps anymore, and only balance changes now until OW2 comes out in 2022 or 2023, but I've played Blizzard since 1994. And good, bad, and ugly (especially the bad and ugly since Activision became more hands on with them and all the old guard that made Blizzard what is was left the company), so far, I still know what to expect from them. And still get it in their games.
Sadly, I've come to learn what to expect from BHVR as well. And it's the complete opposite.

Wow, this is exactly how I feel. I'm playing this game less and less because while it CAN be fun, more often than not it's just rage inducing to the point it puts me in a bad mood and I have to stop playing it for the day. Then I cool off the next day and come back only to get pissed again due to the MANY stupid things the game has going on for both killer and survivor. I feel it's getting to the point where it'll tick me off one last time and I won't be back.

Agreed , its not that I don't enjoy this game, it justs give you a major middle finger at most sometimes

I’ve been gone almost a month. I played two survivor games last night and once as killer. It didn’t feel the same. I was hoping it would be like going home in feeling but it was like going back to an empty house. It was detached.
