UI Change needed when the killer picks up a survivor to make it more apparent

In the old UI, when a killer picked up a survivor, that survivor's icon bar would glow and pulse red making it VERY obvious that the downed survivor was now being carried to a hook. The new UI doesn't make it clear enough that a survivor is being picked up and carried. The difference between a slugged survivor's bar and a survivor who is being picked up is not different enough to alert other survivors.

With the prevalence of Barbeque and Chili usage, it is very necessary to know when a survivor is being taken to a hook.

I don't want to have to rely on looking the survivor's aura to determine whether a survivor is being picked up. I am often engaged in other objectives such as focusing on GREAT skill checks, looking for a totem or chest etc... In the old UI, I was able to easily see when I needed to hop into a locker, get to a safer area or start heading in the direction of the survivor once the survivor was being picked up.

    It was a feature that was ALREADY in the OLD UI. I'm not asking for something new. I am asking for them to NOT REMOVE something that was there and is now REMOVED. It is something that was useful and didn't require survivors to have to keep visual tabs on other survivor's aura. Just because YOU may not use it, that doesn't mean that OTHER people aren't using it.

    I have 2,700 hours in the game as survivor and don't need HAND-HOLDING. I don't want to be forced to look at slugged survivors as the only indication of when they are being picked up and carried ESPECIALLY when it was a feature BEFORE the change.

    They should bring back the aura flashing when a downed survivor is being healed or carried by the killer. It was a huge help to solo survivors. I can't count the number of times I've left a gen across the map to go pop someone up only to see one teammate already doing it and another running over from opposite direction. Removing that feature just hurts solo q.

    M1 + ESC was a bug that the devs never intentionally added to the game.

    The status bar glow was something they intentionally added back with Stranger Things.

    Added a new glow effect to Survivors' health bar when bleeding out, carried and hooked. This is used to indicate that the health bar depletion is paused.

    The removal of this (whether it was intentinal or not idk) also removes some other things.


    Basically the "pulsing" happens when someone's bleedout / hook timer was suspended. This means you could tell if a survivor was being healed or carried while slugged or you could tell if someone's camaraderie was active while they were on hook.

    Im guessing removal was not intentional, but I hope they add it back.
