Breaking GhostFace out of Stalk

so irritating ..

twice i was looking straight at him without him even knowing i was there and nothing .... he turns round and put's me into stalk ....

what more do you have to do other than face your character DIRECTLY AT HIM IN THE OPEN and fix your camera on him ??? it's that bugged and broken that you haven't got time to do it!

second game back and I already just wanted to alt f4

    I've had daft instances on both sides. Ive stared at him blatantly, with nothing but a hit to take, then on the hook, I break him out yet I cant see him. It's ridiculously unpredictable. I main GF and its the only thing I can't stand with him.

    Age old problem with that killer. I've had so many matches where I am staring right at him, he's fully visible, and I can't break him out. Then he exposes me and gets a free down.

    If his reveal mechanic worked the way it was supposed to, he wouldn't get half the kills he gets.

    GF reveal is wonky as hell. Never works when you need it to as survivor and when you do play him you get revealed through walls.

    Console Ghostfaces tend to have reveal immunity in my experience. I usually don't have much trouble breaking GF out of stealth when they're on PC

    There are some videos which explain it. You need to lock at him in a specific way. In my experience you need to look higher then you would think.

    You have to see more than 33%of him and be in the 32m range to reveal him

    Well that's how it is intended to work but actually the reveal only happens when you can't even see the bastard

    I've had instances where I was around 8 meters behind him while he was stalking another player and didn't notice me. There were no obstructions between us, I could see his body entirely on my screen for quite a while and not even the reveal sound effect started. There were also instances of him been able to stalk survivors hiding behind objects (not my personal experience tho.

    Supposedly you center him on your screen, nothing in the way including your own character's head. It's much more difficult if he's leaning or has certain add-ons. You do all this and I guarantee you'll break him out of it at least 38% of the time.
