How about adding a decisive strike timer for killer ? (Like a borrowed time timer)
Let's start with the fact that the decisive strike, in principle, should not be in the game for obvious reasons.
But since such a strong perk is in the game, killer needs to at least know about him.
I think the decisive strike needs to add a timer like borrowed time for killer.
If the survivor does not have a ds, then there is no timer either.

Killers don't get a BT timer. Killers do see the deep wound bar if they hit a BT'd survivor, but killers also don't see the deep wound bar go down either.
Also DS is getting a change this coming Chapter so if survivors do anything to progress the game, DS will deactivate.

To be honest that would just encourage killers to tunnel survivors who aren't running DS. The lack of timer would be a green light to tunnel.

But then you'd know they had ds, and if you knew they didn't have it, you'd be tunneling off the hook, etc. No. Stop whining about 1 perk.

that would kill 70% of the perk. you could just get downed again and not get the chance to use it. basically it would make it no mither 2.0

Just count 60 seconds or eat the ds.

Excuse me.
Borrowed Timer.

Thanks old timer.

I don't think that would improve the health of the game in the slightest. Also with DS getting a rework that's going to be less of an issue - there'll be a lot less abuse of the perk.
As a killer, you shouldn't be made aware of whether or not the survivor has DS unless it's used on you - the obsession signal is enough to show you that someone has an obsession perk and then you know that DS is likely. I think it's up to the killer to keep count of the 60s.

I think the coming nerf of ds is a drop in the ocean, what I offered is that will not globally weaken the total domination of survivors in game.
At least as long as there are imbalanced perks such as the decisive strike, borrowed time, dead hard, and unbreakable, maps such as gideon meat plant, hawkins laboratory, haddonfield etc. the game will not be fine. And this is not another whining, these are facts.

Decisive Strike will be far less unbalanced in a few months.
Given the rate devs listen to advice and implement requested features, we are extremely unlikely to see such a DS timer implemented in the timeframe before the perk is planned to be nerfed. Let's see if the perk is still a big issue then!

I already know when they don't have it when I see no Obsession.

That's totally different. When you see an Obsession you know 1 out of 4 survivors, at least, is running an obsession perk, which is most likely going to be DS. It isn't always going to be the obsession either.
If there was a DS timer, you would know, with 100% certainty, the very survivor which has DS when they are unhooked.

This perk should working without time limit to punish tunneling #########

I'm not seeing the problem.

The fact there was an obsession could be enough to make you not tunnel, since you don't know which survivor may have DS.
With the proposed changes, you'd be able to tunnel freely as you know exactly who to slug, because a timer appears by their name.
I hate DS (when used aggressively), but I still think this would be bad to add as then DS is completely useless as an anti-tunnel perk anymore.
DS is gonna be much less of an issue with the changes anyway.

lmao, I sense a bit of survivor main in this one
I think you forgot the /s buddy

I'm pretty sure that, as embarrassing and biased as it is, the post is 100% serious :-/

When I do get DS'd, I verbally insult myself for letting it happen. It is strong and obnoxious, but it has a very simple and obvious counyerplay. At least after it happens once, just make sure 60 seconds passes before picking them up.

Ik, it is a bit disappointing

Yeah man, that sounds fair...

Guys, just bring T3 Make Your Choice. Bam, free timer.
