Ranking Up/Pip'ing still an Issue?

So I just got back into DBD since the bug fix patch came out so I'm trying to get back to my usual rank.

I played a match last night where I +2 pip'd at rank 5, but upon getting to the lobby I realized the 2 pips did not count. But my challenge did (I was doing the heal survivors # of times, I went from 2/8 to 5/8 healed).

Then tonight, I played a match and +2 pip'd again, got to end game lobby and saw this:

Then got back to main lobby and was presented with this:

It seems to have tracked the +2 pip game I had at r5 and counted it towards the end game lobby but it doesn't actually factor into my actual rank? Is anyone else experiencing this? This a known issue? What the hell is going on, lol.

tldr; technically should be rank 3, but game didn't factor in one of my +2 pip matches and seems confused.

Just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this. I know there was a pip/ranking issue but this seems different. Thanks.
