Do you hope the new killer and survivor will be closely related?

Title pretty much but I got to wondering, most if not every single Killer + Survivor before this they're like, not related at all right?

I think it would be cool if there was a killer and survivor rolled out together that are connected closely in each other's back story.

Also, I know Spirit and Oni are related, I don't mean like that though I mean specifically a chapter where a killer and survivor are directly connected to each other in their stories on rollout!

Share your thoughts and feel free to discuss and also correct me if I'm wrong about the above statement bcuz aside from licensed chapters like Saw, Halloween etc I don't think there's an original chapter with that sort of connection between the characters yet 🤔

I don't care about that. I feel like it would be a cool thing to have happen once, but the devs will see its success and assume that doing it for the next 4 chapters as well would also be automatically successful, and then it doesn't turn out that way because it'd be a complete fail trend that nobody likes.

    Tl;dr No I don't hope for that.

I do that way it feels more connected when you play against that killer as said survivor

The Survivors that have direct lore connections to their Killer (aka they knew about them before they went to the Entity's realm) are Dwight, Jeff, Felix, Elodie and Zarina.

It was relatively uncommon before 2020 but now I think the Devs have started a trend where they try to connect the Survivors to their Killer to some extent.

I'd love to see a character that was a killer AND a survivor. Kinda like the Entity taking someone in 2 different moments: either a ruthless killer that pathed to redemption or someone with pure intentions that drifted into a tragic fate.

An example would be allowing us to play as the survivor Lisa Sherwood or the killer Hag.

I would, personally. When I was getting into the game, I assumed the survivors and killers each had their own past with one another, seeing as they came together. It was kind of sad to find out they actually generally have nothing to do with one another, minus a few exceptions.

Dwight's Killer is Trapper. The Preppy Flatcap cosmetic says: "A beige cap fit for high class golf tournaments and deadly runs around The MacMillan Estate."

My guess is that Dwight lived near the MacMillan Estate and probably heard the stories about what happened there. I doubt they ever met or anything though. Similar relationship to his Killer as Zarina, Felix and Elodie where they knew about their Killer before they came to the Entity's realm, but never actually met them

I really hope not. I greatly prefer the idea of everybody just beign random people with no connections to each other, both Survivors and Killers. It gives a more oppressive feeling to the Entity's realm, robbing the characters of things that were familiar from their lives. I know you cant really help it when it comes to lisenced characters, but I am always disappointed whenever original characters get linked together.

I like what they did with Jane and plague as they were connected by a theme rather than just meeting each other both being famous people who couldn’t keep up with their fame

I like the idea of the Killer and Survivor being aware of each other outside of licensed DLCs. I think more of it would be cool to see.
