what is boosting?

so I just played a round as killer and as always at least one survivor was crying, he called me out because of boosting.

can someone tell me what that means?

    That is the term people often use for survivors who they think got carried to high ranks by swf.

    Boosted killer? Maybe they mean you got to a certain rank boosted by perks/add ons.


    Either way ignore it. It is just salt and people looking for a scapegoat for their failure.

    so I went against the same swf who called me out again and they meant bloodpoint farming with boosting

    Oh I see how it could be used to describe that situation too. But you never mentioned you were farming with survivors. Maybe they thought you did especially if you let someone go. I am really not sure. I wouldn't pay much attention to it like I said. People will say anything when salty.
