Can a perfect killer win against a perfect Team?
I'm wondering, can a perfect killer win against a perfect Team? I would say no because a good survivor can loop so perfect that the gens are completed before they get hit ones. I think when both sides would play perfect the survivor would still win.

i mean there is so many variables to the game it’s really hard to tell because let’s the perfect killer Is nurse but she get Leary’s, the perfect team would just take advantage of the los but maybe the nurse has range AddOns so she Can basically block arcos the map with one blink
the game has to much rng to tell who would win but if the rng was vary minimal then the perfect survivor team would win since a swf is way stronger then a killer

Yes

No, no matter how good the killer is they require the survivors to make a mistake. If the survivors are perfect then they make no mistakes and thus the killer cannot exploit their mistakes, thus the killer will not win.

Depends on the killer.
Spirit? Nurse? Hag? Huntress? - Yeah, and they'd probably win with some regularity.
Pyramid Head? Freddy? Oni? Plague? - They'd win occasionally. Perfect Survivors never cleanse against plague, but with the right addons, Plague can be quite nasty.
Deathslinger? Blight? Doctor? - They'd sometimes win. But no guarantees.
Ghostface? Twins? Leatherface? Billy? Wraith? - They might win once in a while. With the right add-ons, they can be quite nasty. Wraith is probably there solely due to all-seeing eye.
Clown? Demogorgon? Legion? - Not impossible, but unlikely. A great Clown can close loops, but lacks strength the doctor does. Demo is pretty good, but he's too loud. And Legion's power just won't down people.
Trapper? Myers? Pig? - Very unlikely. Trapper needs too much time to set up his power, even with his best add-ons. Myers needs too much setup as well. And Pig doesn't have much of a chase power, meaning she won't be able to end chases very fast. Not impossible, but you'd pretty much need really good RNG and possibly a Tampered Timer.

Objective times are in survivor favor.

Depends how perfect we're talking
Nurse who moves/chases perfectly optimally, never commits to bad chases, and always lands blinks?
Yeah probably, at least with addons and on The Game/Midwich
Other than that though a survivor team that never, ever goes off gens and always saves as soon as the killer is further from the hook than the nearest survivor would be impossible to beat. There simply wouldn't be enough time.

I think it would be a 0k or 1k game. I'm assuming by perfect you mean full on ai calculations and controlled for both. Both sides predict perfectly, which means it leans in favor of the survivors and they can buy lots of time even when going down.
Unless you mean human perfect than it would probably be around a 1k-2k. 3k every once and a while. The problem is gen times and strategies to waste killer time that most survivors refuse to do, since they don't care about the 1v4.

Organised M1 will always trump a killer.
Even otz said survivors. Have enough health states that a good tactic is to literally feed you hooks so you don't kill someone early.
They can feed you your objective and still win FFS.

A meta build Nurse/Spirit has a chance.
Everything else in the game is too weak to verse a perfect team without a doubt.

A perfect high tier killer will win 100% of games.
The issue is more like... that middle area where mortals play. The issue is less 'which side wins more, all things being equal' and 'which side has to try harder?' And the answer is infinitely killer. If your playing a middle tier killer, or you make a few mistakes, and the survivors play well but not perfectly, its still a blowout for survivors. But if your an ace nurse, huntress, Deathslinger, or some other killer able to just bypass chases, and you don't screw up, you win.
Which is... kinda a huge problem: The raw math of the game favors survivors a lot and it takes a truly ridiculous level of play to beat that, but if you can there isn't much the survivors can do to stop you. But the level of effort to get to that point is insane and the result of falling short of that is huge. More importantly, the way you lose if you don't play amazingly isn't fun at all, which is arguably more important.

No. A perfect team will just slam the gens and open the gates in less than 3 minutes. Throw in 4 DS/UB/DH/IW and not even Nurse with Ruin/Undying/Infectious/I'm All Ears can do a thing. There's a reason most tournaments have rulesets designed to mitigate this. And if we're talking add-ons, well, toolboxes aren't as nerfed as some people want to think.
Also it's boring AF to watch, so that's actually the main reason, but the imbalance is a close second.

It depends on what is allowed in terms of addons and items.
1 -
A Nurse can. That's about it. Luckily no one is perfect so this hypothetical situation doesn't really matter.
2 -
Generally no.
I hate saying the game is survivor sided though because a killer can easily dominate in a lot of games against uncoordinated survivors, poorly matchmade ones, etc.... so it feels worse for them than it really is. However if you take a skilled coordinated survivor group, they are nearly unstoppable.
There is a reason why the competitive scene in DBD is nearly non existent.
7 -
Nope, just watch any tournament. There's no 4k and most of the time it's either 3 or 4 escapes. And we are talking nurse/spirit games.
7 -
Only a perfect nurse,period.

Even then....

what are you counting as a win?

A perfect survivor never makes a mistake, while a perfect killer wouldn't be able to capitalize off of a perfect survivor. Gg ez right survivors?

A perfect team has no chance against a perfect killer.
Perfect killer would be something like a nurse using a slug strategy and one blink downing every survivor. Or a Huntress with Iri hatchet throwing hatchets across the map to one shot a survivor.
Perfect teams can finish 3 gens in under 2 minutes.
Perfect killer can down 4 survivors in under 2 minutes.
You tell me who wins.
Don't people ever tire of repeating this hogwash? Is there some popular streamer or influencer who keeps repeating this that it's completely brainwashed the killer population of this game?

In the very recent Japanese championships tournament there were multiple 4Ks, one of them was even done by Pig.
1 -
No.
A good team will just run to the edges of the map if the nurse is chasing them. This maximizes distance to hooks and maximizes the amount of distance to the other team mates. There is absolutely no way for the nurse to win in this scenario.
In fact, we have tournaments where this has already happened. The game is very heavily survivor sided, and there is absolutely no argument against that.
Your thinking is flawed in that you think that survivors have to actually loop to win the game. Against most killers this is the case, but against the killers that can circumvent looping, you force the killers to spend their time walking towards you. Using this strategy it is impossible to get more than 1k against even an iri huntress or nurse.
5 -
No. If every Survivor is doing what they should be doing, the Killer has no chance simply because Killers, no matter how skilled they are, cannot be in 4 different places simultaneously.
7 -
I don't think you understand what it means to be a perfect nurse.
There is no defense against a perfect nurse.
There are no perfect nurses in the game but there are some god nurse players out there who are really good. They will down a survivor consistently within 10-20 seconds of a chase starting, no matter what the map, no matter how good the survivor is. The leeway for survivors is in the spacing of the survivors. But in the actual chase the nurse dominates. And hooks are unnecessary it's a slug nurse as I said.
A perfect nurse would be even stronger than that.
A perfect nurse would end chases almost instantly, and perfectly find survivors each time. That's why it's a "perfect killer." Perect survivor etam could finish 3 gens in a minute with toolboxes and BNP and shroud of separation. 3 would genrush, nurse slugs 1st survivor in 10 seconds. Nurse leaves to slug 2nd survivor, 1st survivor gets up with Unbreakable to genrush. But since the nurse is perfect she wiill find and slug a survivor within 20 seconds. 3 gens at most would be done, maybe 4 with each survivor using unbreakable. The survivors would all be down before they even get the chance to do the exit gates, even on large maps.
It's a PERFECT nurse after all.

Depends on the killer:
Nurse, spirit, hag, blight, freddy, twins... yea maybe they can win in a balanced map if they play better. But don't spect that from Myers or trapper
0 -
Hillbilly spirit nurse Freddy yes
All other killers are highly map and add on dependant.
0 -
This is exactly how I feel.
0 -
On paper no, you will get beaten as killer. gameplay wise yes, because no one can play 100% perfect in this game. Everyone makes minor and major mistakes every match they play.
0 -
Yes. Only if it's a nurse.
0 -
There is a simple answer to this question.. That people say all the time and I think no one can disagree with.
Survivor wins on Hatch or through Gates.
Killers with 3Ks are still considered wins.
Perfect survivor always wins.

Test it and find out.

Ok, i've watched some of the matches and to be honest the best player seems at most a green rank player. This "tournament" cant disprove my point sorry. I doubt the survivors were even in coms.

Nurse definitely can, but Nurse is also bugged. Even the best player can't outplay bugs.
