Consoles need access to the pre-game and post-game chats

It makes no sense why a vital communication tool is only accessible on one platform. It devalues crossplay as a whole. Cross-progression can be complicated, but I see no reason as to why multi-platform chats are not in the game.

I feel as though the lack of a pre and post-game chat contributes to the rift between PC and console DbD players. That's for another discussion, but we don't understand each other because we can't communicate with each other.

It's really sad that I can't even say 'gg wp' to a killer who played a fantastic game, or to give a shoutout to a teammate who saved me when I should've died. There are too many things that go unappreciated simply because there is no way to talk to each other.

    Yeah, sometimes I just want to turn off cross play because you can chat only on PC.

    Note: chat also works on Stadia.

    I agree. Sometimes I play against a toxic console swf and when I facecamp them I don't get to see their salt post game. Please change.

    Would be nice, salt included. However I do hope the PCrs will wait 13-14min for me to type out a message with my controller. Among other things, we lowly consolers do not have m&k support either.
