How to tell if someone is in tier 3 with the new HUD?

First time playing doctor after the HUD update and was wondering how to tell if someone is in tier 3 or tier 2?

    You gotta remember how many times you have shocked each one. Just like with the hooks.

    there's visual nuances with each tier. the static shifts faster with tier, but most people dont have the time to look at the UI for 10 seconds to distinguish a survivors tier when there's 3 other survivors in the game that are also maddened, making the whole thing a mess.
