I, for one, love it.

I, as someone who plays killer more, wouldn't mind if it got buffed in its anti-tunnel capabilities. Something like slowing the timer while in chase or while slugged. My problems with DS were it punished killers for not actually tunneling, and against killers that are actually tunneling it sucks. Now as a full anti-tunnel perk, I'd be fine with it getting buffed in that regard. I'm sure there are plenty of people that disagree with me though. The deactiviating upon touching a gen is exactly what I wanted though, same with unhooking and totems.

Id say just test new ds with a infinite timer so survivors who are actually getting tunneled dont have to force themselves into a locker to prevent the tunneler from slugging or ds running out before they can use it. Plenty of times ive ran the killer for the entire of ds's duration and i was still technically being tunneled. And with it deactivating on you progressing the game if survivors wanna wave it in your face you know they cant do a gen or anything.

It was inevitable. Y’all had to abuse it, just sit in a gen, DS the killer when he grabs you and pop the gen in his face. We’ve all seen it, y’all thought you were funny. Now the chickens have come home to roost.

I'm happy with it, but an obsession should now always appear in a trial regardless of any perks or add ons from either side.
