Hack or lag?

Just had a game against a SWF, had one guy on hook and downed another and was about to pick him up. Game froze in the pick up animation for about 15 seconds, the guy on the ground had disappeared once things got back to normal and the other on the hook had been rescued and it basically cost me the game. Seemed very convenient for the survivors but it could have just been very unlucky. There was zero lag that I noticed on the rest of the match though.

    Interesting. I'm not sure what it was. I've seen a couple survivors run No Mither and Soul Guard together and when the killer picked them up, they would start lagging so badly that they couldn't be hooked.

    I've seen something along the lines of hacker making the killer frozen in grab animation for too long. Although it does happen due to lag, that is usually only a second s or two and I've never seen an instance where you dont actually pick up the person. You probably got a sly hacker

    I've had similar freezing issues tonight. Twice when going to hook a survivor as killer and one time repairing a gen as survivor which made me miss the skill check. I'm playing on PS5 haven't ever encountered this before tonight.
