PC - Steam

Not a bug I got personally, but my friend who plays with me (who is now banned for a bug he couldn't do anything about and got ignored when reported).

After a match, his game crashed and he got an error message of missing file. On Steam he right-clicked the game and went => properties => local files => verify integrity of local files. Steam found one missing file and downloaded it back. The game was working again but he was now Devotion 1 Lv 1, when previously he was only level 24. He also got all the iridescent shards he would have gotten if he passed the 100 levels, around 25k shards.

Later that day the game crashed again, and he had to do the same thing to fix the game, and now he was Devotion 2 Lv 1, with 25k more shards and 1 million BP, and that time he went from Survivor rank 13 to 5.

Now every time he launches the game he gets 1 million BP and 1 Devotion level with 25k shards and his rank goes up or down a few levels.

Out of curiossity I tried to do a file integrity verification on my game and nothing happened, Steam said I have all the right files and that's it, so it doesn't look like anyone can replicate this situation willingly.

A few weeks ago the bug was gone, then he stopped playing for about 2 weeks and today he got a message saying he was banned.
