Why would you ever play Trickster over Huntress or Deathslinger? In terms of power he is just worse

He basically is a worse plague (requires to hit you with multiple projectiles to injure you), except people lose knives over time, whereas they get injured passively if the plague pukes on them, also they get NO speed burst when a plague injures them with her puke, they get a speed burst if you injure them with your knives tho.
He is a worse huntress in terms that he just has to hit you 8 or 16 times to down you and you HAVE to keep chasing the survivor because otherwise they would lose stacks.
His design is so uninspired and just a worse version of already existing killers, really disappointing.

Trickster vs Deathslinger is basically a machine gun vs a bolt action rifle. Each one will have its advantage and disadvantages in a given scenario. Also Tricker can down survivors at loops that deathslinger and even Huntress can only ever dream of.

Another advantage trickster has over deathslinger is aoe. A couple of survivors in the basement will get decimated by trickster.
Deathslinger will get one shot or 1 basic attack.
Ofcourse huntress beats trickster in that scenario.
That said don't forget trickster is still in ptb. Killers in ptb are almost always on the weak side which makes sense.
Our community would not be able to handle a strong killer getting nerfed from the ptb. Making them safer and weaker in the ptb and bumping them up in the life version is the best way to handle it.

That is not a good comparison... Like at all...
It's way easier to just 4K with Legion than Blight (especially on console), and on too of that legion came out before blight. They also don't play nearly the same.
This killer plays like a worse version of 3 killers we already have. He's a worse DS, Huntress, and plague.

Exactly I personally think having 1 bounce and 7 blades to down as base would make him much better.
and if that's not enough 115 when not in throwing state.
Surely that's enough to make him unique and decent

Tbf this chapter is kinda meh but I'll take the perks.
Im just honestly more surprised how the surv is not a killer i mean jesus ######### christ... "Some people are weak and they must be sacrificed"is one of the new survs qoutes pretty much. Then again im all for natural selection. But she seems like the type to really cut anyone off if they happen to be... Less rich.
Maybe the entity just hates rich people and is just removing them from earth. What ever its grudge im sure it'll get over it.

Only if you got addons, even then hitting multiple survivors 8 times is very unlikely. Especially hitting them 16 times if they are healthy... so no. that argument is really not valid.

I didn't have many addons during the ptb and every time i was around when survivors were unhooked in the basement i did a lot of damage. I always got a down and a couple of injures.
Way more then deathslinger could do in that situation.
The trickster desperatly needs some buffs, but that doesn't mean we can't acknowledge the couple of strenghts he already has.
If you are in the basement and you need to run past the trickster then the trickster will at the very least get 2 healthstates without addons
With good addons you're not getting out at all.
