"Why not just play Huntress", because she's just boring, that's why.
The new killer is unique and super fun to play, I can't say the same for a lot of different killers in this game. The whole "Just play huntress" argument is just annoying at this point because it's become very boring for me to play her, plus her humming makes me want to rip my hair out. I'd rather have fun throwing knifes with a "weaker" killer than play huntress all the time.
I also see a lot of people arguing that it's better to play her because of quicker downs = quicker wins, but I don't want to play as some sweaty ass killer all the time. I want to be able to have a laugh during a match and actually enjoy the killer I'm playing.
Disagree with me if you want, but you would just be disagreeing to me wanting to actually have fun with the new killer.

You don't like strong women then?

I think there are more and more killers for all tastes but to talk like this about the huntress really? she already has a strong legacy in DbD she is very strong and fun killer, if it bothers you that people talk bad about the new killer don't do the same and less from one of dbd's most beloved killers so the image of the new killer's fans looks even worse.

I enjoyed playing Deathslinger and Trickster than Huntress to be honest.

Comparing new killers to old killers in the fashion that everyone keeps doing is quite pointless. Of course Huntress may be a stronger Deathslinger, of course Nurse may be a stronger Blight. But their strength comes from their lack of complexity. The newer killers have to be fun and interesting, which doesn't mean the old ones aren't, but they have to be different and not carbon copies. And that sometimes means being weaker but more fun than an existing killer. Add-ons and perks make up the difference also, since they're different for each killer and make their base abilities stronger.
I agree with the OP. If you hate on the new killers, you're not only being anti-fun, but you're also discouraging the devs from trying new things which is what we all want from them when designing new killers.

I find him even more boring because he's bloody awful to play as and the only interesting thing he can do requires a purple addon that rewards aiming at their feet instead of actually trying to trick shot with your trick shot character.
