Non-Human Survivors?
This new chapter got me thinking. Dead by Daylight's selection of killers ranges from regular human beings (Legion, Huntress, and now Trickster) to monsters (Demogorgon, Blight, Hag).
Would a non-human survivor be possible? For example, a vampire survivor? I feel that it might work. Most maps are overcast/nocturnal/indoors, so no need to worry about sunlight. And yeah vampires are immortal but the hook could pierce their heart. I could see the corresponding killer being a crazed vampire hunter.
What are your thoughts?

Probably not. Vampires also have incredible strength and supernatural abilities(most of the time)

Its a bit weird since why would a monster be hunting a monster? Why have the Demogorgon hunt down a vampire? If it was someone pretending to be a vampire that would work, I'm up for cosplay costumes for survivors. But a character who is canonically a vampire it doesn't fit right with me.
But the Crazed vampire hunter sounds good, we could get Van Helsing but he's been twisted by the entity (making him see everyone as monsters/vampires with the entity touched eyes theory).

Having a vampire wouldn’t make sense in my eyes, because why would they be running away from the likes of Legion? They’re a vampire and I’m pretty sure they’d have some sort of supernatural strength. I like the idea of a vampire killer and a hunter as the survivor though.
Also, we already have Claudette. She’s clearly a shapeshifter, have you not seen her turn into a bush before?

The thing is the Entity grabs people from the real world and sends them to the Fog where they become what they are now, it always snatches humans.
Blight, Hag, Spirit etc were regular humans until the moment they were snatched and twisted, for a vampire Survivor to exists the Entity would have to snatch a regular human and transform it into a vampire and that doesnt make much sense lore-wise.
The Demogorgon is a special case because its a license so I wouldnt take its existence as canon (if they were to make comics, novels, a movie DBD related I supose most licensed characters wouldnt make it).

Even than, the Demogorgon isn't a supernatural being like a Vampire would be. It's an otherworldly specimen for sure, but who's to say a creature like it doesn't exist as a lifeform on another planet that Humans have yet to discover.
Basically, I'm saying that the Demogorgon is still more grounded to reality and fits in DBD more than a Vampire (or indeed any true supernatural being) would.

They couldn't have a robot they have too many binary survivors as it is. 🎣
