How do you play against the clown?

How do you avoid being downed when your slowed, it just feels impossible to get away from him and it's pretty boring to play against...

    Sometimes you can't stop him from slowing you, but what you do is just play it safe and he can do nothing about it.

    If you are at a loop, just drop the pallet early and don't try to loop it or you will take a hit from being slowed. You can also try to bait him by letting him use a speed and slow bottle at somewhere like the shack. If he uses the speed one and follows up with a tonic, then just run to another spot if you can.

    His bottles are all he's got, if you delay him from getting a hit, then you delay him from doing literally anything.
