How about adding in a mechanic to the trickster's design?

Make him look normal at the start of the match. The closer the trickster is to using his power the main event the more charred and disfigured his hands look to the killer and he looks to the survivors. Now it gives a visual cue for both sides when his main event power is coming up, plus he'll be more horror looking.

Outside of matches have the trickster phase in and out of both appearances.

I think when his MAIN EVENT is activated there should be a purple spotlight following him.
