ive been searching for a game as killer for like an hour did everyone go back to live?

I'd imagine the vast majority of players indeed go back to live within a day of the PTB launching. There's not much to do on it besides test out the new content, which doesn't take too long.
Coupled with the fact that since it's Steam exclusive, the total player pool is much smaller than usual which doesn't help with the matchmaking times in the PTB.

Also the lag and fps drops might play a role with the player count drop aswell.

I gave up after about two hours, the fact that there is a memory leak causing the fps drops whenever someone plays the Trickster makes it a miserable experience.

baby, you are probably going to die in that queue. It feels like the ptb only lasts for like 2 days, then everyone switches back.

I was good after one day and back to live verson.

Not right now, It takes too much to play with randoms, in private it's the only viable way to play it.

I was talking more about PTBs in general rather than the current one specifically, but that also may play a factor.

There's also the fact that a large percentage of players in the PTB were probably playing as Killer, leading to huge queue times.

im an xbox player which sadly means that i have to wait another 3 weeks before i can even play in the new chapter

I went back today only because you can only play against Trickster so many time before it gets boring

I've been getting constant 4Ks even with reasonably meme builds which made me think everyone was still on the PTB and I'm mainly playing console players (I'm on Windows Store/PC)
Or it could be an MMR thing as I'm also doing random killers lately
