Don't rush games like that, it not only robs you of pips but you're also missing out on a lot of points. Just start slugging and give them a bit of breathing room if you're doing really well, best way to avoid this type of thing.

I noticed kinda sucks but makes a sense lore wise if you curb stomp survivors like that they won’t have as much hope for the entity

Well yeah, if you wont that quickly then obviously it was against people of much lower skill level so you shouldnt be rewarded with ranking up. Thats how any ranked game works really. Also the emblem system exists and punishes you for rushing the win like that. It sounds backwards but thats just how it is

Yeah, but actually the entity wants you to torture the survivors, (from what I remember) which I suppose keeping them in and letting them heal up a bit only to slice them back up would be more hope draining. You wanna torture someone till they break down, not kill em early ya know?

if you're stomping the people you're playing with, why shouldn't you be ranking up to face survivors that are closer to your skill level?

You should. But your rank shouldnt jump huge amounts. Say youre an average killer. You stomp baby survivors. Then your rank gets jumped to top tier survivors, and in turn you get stomped.
I guess im thinking more along the lines of MMR, and I kinda believe theres a hidden MMR in the game right now. It really seems like it anyway.

You are supposed to toy with the survivors, aka, giving them the possible chance to come back and win, even though they already have 312345312134 second chances. This is disguised by making your goal to make the Entity happy, by tormenting the survivors and feeding the Entity. I personally don't care about pips. I would rather 4k with 4 gens left than give them another second chance to turn the game around and win, but that's me.

Well if you know scott jund at all, hes got a yt video asking if mmr is secretly on and gives his reasoning why he thinks it is. Ive experienced the same as him and other people have been talking about it as well

So what you are saying is you either 4man slugged at 5 gens or you did nothing but sit on gens for 3min. You think that takes enough skill to rank up? I don't and neither does the pip system.
