Prices
Why are characters 500 cells while costumes are over 1k?
10 dollars for one costume and some are the same costume just different color/pattern if you look at Claudette Wild indigo it's the same as burgandy carnation and morning glory yet it's priced higher than the other two??? Same thing for David tracksuits...
You can get two licensed killers for one of these costumes or buy in to the rift

Buying characters with cells is already more expensive than buying a chapter with the characters, so it wouldn’t make sense to make them more expensive.
so the question is, why are costumes so damn expensive. And frankly, because they can sell them this way. Why wouldn’t they take the money they can get.. it’s not like you are missing out on anything gameplay related if you are not buying cosmetics so I am fine with this (i only get cosmetics for shards)

Yeah... I actually prefer characters/perks to be the cheapest things...

Because plenty of people are OK with spending 1k on a cosmetic.

Yet the number of posts I read on this topic indicate that's not the case. 1k cells is like 10 dollars who's seeing that as worth a buy?
Makes no sense either there are some outfits on certain characters where all they did is change color or pattern for example the wild indigo is a clone of burgundy carnation which is a clone of morning glory all they did is change the colors and the pattern on the skirt yet wild indigo is more shards than other two.

Cosmetics provide no gameplay-content, Characters do. I prefer cheap Characters and more expensive Cosmetics than vice-versa.
Cosmetics are basically the best thing to make money - nobody feels the need to buy them, Characters are different, if you want to play a Killer, you have to buy them. And then it is good that they are cheap.

Because characters are more important but I do wish the cosmetics weren’t as expensive, or that all of them were available with shards

Greedy devs and a fanbase that is way too loyal (except for Silent Hill cosmetics, that's on Konami). That's the reason we keep getting these overpriced cosmetics. You can buy an outfit for the price of two characters, or a cosmetic piece for the price of one character, which is insane. No game (especially one that's not F2P) should have a monetization system like that. I think that cosmetics should cost no more than $3, not this crazy $10 asking price lol. It's the same thing with using shards for store purchases. A single outfit (21,600 shards) costs more than two characters (9,000 each, 18,000 total). Like what the hell is that? Unfortunately people will gobble them up without question.

No offence but I'd rather a chapter cost me £5.19 and skins cost me ~£8 than skins be ~£2 and chapters be significantly more expensive. The actual gameplay content being cheap is significantly better than the alternative.

People who play any game are going to want the content within the game, the complaint being made is that the content alot of people want is too expensive. Whether or not it has gameplay value doesn't change that.

I think the game’s gotten big enough to where we wouldn’t need to make chapters more expensive. If players are fine with paying $10 for cosmetics, they’ll go nuts if they’re $3. This price decrease will even bring in people who have sworn off buying cosmetics because of how expensive they are.
