Please make a solo mode
This game has been a toxic dumpster fire tonight, for the love of god BHVR make a solo play mode.
Even friday the 13th has a solo play mode, yeah its nothing grand but its something at least.
I'm tired of having to spend time online with tantrum throwing children.
Time to go spend my time on something else I'm shaking my head and walking away today.

A training mode vs bots would be nice.

Pretty sure they mean not pvp. Like F13 had offline bots to kill as Jason.

A practice/bot mode would be nice. They could code a couple of different survivor playstyles, code each killer with a playstyle... It would be super hard to do in DbD though. Not saying impossible, just... The mobile team didn't have to deal with the legacy spaghetti.

Yeah no progression linked to it and maybe some kind of solo challenge blood point reward but otherwise there is little to gain than a non pvp play experience and some practice against bots.
You'd still have to play online for your BP's and pips. I'm not looking to replace the pvp experience just offer a solo alternative if I want to goof around on my own terms for a quick laugh.
I want my DBD fix without having to sweat for it sometimes.
Yes that's exactly what I meant, not a solo queue mode, but a solo play mode against bots.

Yeah the custom play bots in friday the 13th just try and endlessly run from you, there isn't a lot of interaction but as its been said I'm not looking to replace the current PVP game just bolster player options overall with another mode.
You could have a boldness/fearful scale for survivor bots that you could set individually which would scale how much they run/hide or try and finish a gen and loop you before fleeing etc. The F13 bots do an ok job of exploiting windows ect to try and avoid you they just aren't very good at hiding in cupboards or attacking you back. Lets face it F13 is a dumpster fire next to DBD in terms of gameplay and its still got adequate bots.
Killers could have an agressive/deffensive scale that plays into how much they commit to chases or try and patrol and regress gens.
It couldn't be that hard to programme. Yes you'd be missing a large part of the mindgames etc but as I said you'll never replace a player oponent but if it was adequate enough to practice a killer power on or just play a really obnoxious murder build without ruining someone elses fun it would be worth it.
EDIT - You are right though the neater your code the easier automation is.

Dbd mobile has a mode like that player vs bot I really wish they had that on pc/console

The solo mode in F13 is Jason only.

the npcs in f13 solo mode are a bit stupid but i think bhvr could do a better job

The solo custom game isn't bad though yeah they are kind of dumb but its better than nothing. I think DBD could do better, again it would never replace the pvp game but it would be a nice addition.

Yea a solo mode or a training mode would be nice. I would just like to be able to try out my killer before actually playing against other players. You could also try out different strageties in a solo mode.

Just allow us to populate Custom games with survivor bots, so that you can go in as two people with three survivor bots, or even solo with four.
Although I'm sure the main hurdle is coding and bug testing the bots for all situations that arise on new maps, with new perks, etc.

Yeah that's the kind of idea I have. Custom game with bots. Sometimes I just want to muck about with a new build but no one is online to do that with, also when its just you and one other its kind of hard to really test how something works.
