Killer Concept - The Sister
Wanted to share my killer concept with you guys.
Note the main idea behind this killer is unpredictability, that will add a deal of tension and fear to the game, which is what I personally want more of.
A few clarifications:
• The 28% of the first Make a Wish effect applies each time a generation is started or is being repaired while the hook has taken place, and it applies independently for each survivor. It generates a sound warning that indicates a skill check, which will not take place. Usefulness: Not that much, apart from confusing survivors for a second and making them look for a skill check instead of for the killer, or at their spine chill.
• The 24% pallet destroying chance occurs AFTER the pallet is dropped, in other words, the killer can still be stunned by it, but the pallet will immediately break afterwards.
• Vow of Peace effect applies for kills by any means, both sacrifices and mori's. It does NOT apply if a survivor disconnects.
• While in Vile Mirror roaming mode, the Sister can still initiate a chase music sound if a survivor comes close to her actual body, and end the ability to initiate a chase.
• In Vile Mirror mode, her movement speed is at 230% and she ignores unit collision, aka can move through walls. She cannot go up and down, and she can use stairs to change levels like everybody else, however much faster.
• Survivors will not be alerted in any way if the Sister is close to them or looking at them while in Vile Mirror mode, nor will Spine Chill activate. The only indicator they'll receive is the Liturgy that plays in the background, whenever she is in Vile Mirror mode, with no further cues.
• The Sister can hear the false Teleport indicator, however she has no way of knowing where or when the indicator will be. The chance of triggering the false indicator is 50% at every skill check, and cannot occur more than once every 30 seconds, however it applies at every skill check of every survivor. If the Sister stumbles across a false indicator, it's a good strategy to hide her line of sight, because although survivors cannot hear the visual cue after the false alarm, they can still see her teleporting. The power is put on a 12 seconds cooldown whenever she teleports, but not when she cancels it.
• The liturgy sound is much louder for survivors, than for the Sister. I personally imagine the sound as something like a church choir, with childish voices, sorta creepy but peaceful of the same time.
Short Lore: Hosanna Devierra was raised catholic by her parents and grew up to be very religious herself. She herself dreamed of becoming a nun as a child, and so she did. The community was very accepting of her, and she spent years practicing a modest and peaceful life. One day one of the sisters told her about a restricted chamber of the church, where entry has been forbidden for centuries, some urban legends have been spreading around the monastery about the place and as faithful as people are in that community, nobody dared to check what was going on. Hosanna, being less fearful than the rest and incredibly curious, decided to check what this chamber talk was all about. One night while the rest of the monastery was sleeping, she headed to the chamber. She struggled to unlock the tightly locked, metal door for hours, but somehow she succeeded. When she headed inside, the place was a lot larger than what she anticipated and seemed empty and dull. She did not comprehend why was all the talk and gossip about it, when nothing extraordinary happened there. The only thing she could find inside the chamber was some rusty old furniture, empty barrels of wine and an old mirror. Little is known what happened after she found the mirror, but she was never seen again in the monastery and she was declared missing by her parents and the local police. The monastery was closed shortly after, with no explanation given.
