Are gens faster in Asia?

I play Asian region and let me tell you the mentality here is different. Red ranks its just swf genrush after swf genrush after swf genrush. Its like people never wanna play solo and always looking for a team. Newer players will never get the feeling of a horror game since from the very moment they start in yellow ranks, they always know every move the killer makes. Ill get a hit at a TL in 5 seconds max, but these teams still get to red ranks because of the absurd gen speed.

Playing on prime time today I cant recall a game lasting longer than 8 mins vs these swfs. Im a big fan of the new tinkerer but I may wanna stop using it due to the stress. Its acceptable for a gen (or 2) to finish within 1.5 minutes in a game, but during the mid-period its ridiculous. Ill down people in less than 45 secs of chase (from full health) and utilize pop but still every 30 secs Tinkerer procs on multiple gens on the central gens of pale rose btw.

How can it be that it takes you 20 secs to traverse Azarovs' from one side to the other but (only 2) survs can rush a gen within 40? I literally hooked a guy and went to pop a gen on the other side but by the time I got back (while utilizing frenzy as well), a gen that was on zero beside the hook had already popped, essentially breaking down my 3 gen strat. Seconds after that they popped a gen that was tinkered way earlier that I gave up on.

GEN RUSH IS A THING and no killer except 2 can stop vs an efficient swf thats sole purpose is to sit on gens 80% of the match. I can only say about Asian region. Any other Asian based killer mains out there facing similar stuff? I hear south america is another sweaty region in terms of gen speed, any truth to that?

    It's every region currently. I've never seen the game this bad. I'm not sure whats happened over the past few months or so but I've never seen survivors as focused on gens as they are now.

    If I play swf its funny how many killers end up with a strong start but as the gens start popping you see how unfeasible the 12 hooks is without hard tunneling.

    I play in Europe and I do face gen rushing more often than not so I've started bringing Corrupt Intervention a lot. I do believe that's not enough to stop gen rushing tho.

    Yea I just run corrupt these days to stop gens in the start. On average I get 2 downs before corrupt is up. Corrupt is mandatory no matter the region. People are hardcore wanting to sit on gens. I'm near pinnacle peak skill on clown. I still have problems if people want to sit on gens. At that point unless you are playing nurse or spirit it's a gg.

    I’m in red ranks EU and honestly not having a problem. Most survivors are pretty bad

    Let's see. Ruin was nerfed hard. Then the devs introduced Undying to give killers a chance that spread a lot of damage. Survivors complained, Undying was nerfed hard aaaand nothing stops gens anymore.

    But don't worry. The devs heard us and gave survivors Fast Track. That combos great with Stake out. So even a 3 gen strat is useless now.

    My god. So now they legit just hide when their hooked teamates tells them Im coming for pop and and they completely nullified pop with 1 great skill check?

    swf mains have no idea how much it sucks as killer.

    Yes and stake out turns a normal skill check into a great one.

    Funny enough I have tons of experience on both these servers as a south american currently residing in Asia. Thing is, and I can't say much about the remaining regions, swfs in Asia don't pay attention to secondary objectives such as totems and chests (heck, sometimes even rescues) at all. I remember when I got here I had to get used to people just rushing through my ruin (which was still old ruin) and escaping without even bothering to look for it or save their teammate who got hooked in the endgame. Maybe this craving for efficiency is a cultural thing, as an outsider I wouldn't really understand.

    South America is a different story - people there, at least up until I left, actually felt like they were playing for fun, not to be efficient. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of extremely good players there but they're very casual about it. I didn't fear going against swfs because they were usually just a group of friends trying to have a good laugh, which is totally not the vibe I get from most Japanese/Korean (which are the most common nationalities in the servers I play in) groups, they feel like comp teams in terms of objective, although they often are mediocre at best when it comes to looping.

    Honestly, and I know this is gonna sound very lazy, I just started checking profiles to see if the lobby has a 3-man or higher swf group. If it does and I'm not feeling like sweating too hard, I dodge the lobby. Shameless, yeah, but it helps me keep on enjoying the game.

    There is nothing lazy about dodging lobbies. Fun should be priority in DBD and imo rarely are sweaty games fun. I play on the EU server and on the weekend every lobby is a tryhard swf lobby. Sure sometimes sweaty games are fun, nobody wants to play against new or bad players all the time but I don't want to play every game like a tournament either.
