Could killers please get a perk for finding hatches?
I'm truly tired of survivors getting away over and over again just because of these damn hatches. Would it be too much to ask for a perk that shows the aura of these things? After all it's the only aura reading concept that wasn't tried yet by any other perk out there.

I think it's because hatch is a survivor mechanic, there isn't anything for killers. I know there's that hatch offering anyone can bring, but anyone can bring it.

Could have a token based perk
1 token - reveals aura when in 10m range
2 tokens - reveals aura when in 20m range
3 tokens - hatch is blocked by entity for 20 seconds and aura when in 25m range

As both killer and survivor main that will be horrible to get a killer perk like that. Hatch is the only chance to survive for the lonely survivor cause when it is endgame time we knew that %99 of time killer won the game because it is easy to patrol 2 gates for only 1 survivor. However I agree that find the hatch minigame is not a satisfying one. There should be another mechanic for the 1 vs 1 situation.

I mean I don't think it would be that bad to be honest but I'm pretty sure most killers wouldn't even pick it. Survivors have Left Behind and how often do you see it? I think it would be the same for killer. I don't care if the last person gets the hatch and I don't want to switch out a perk for it.
I wouldn't mind if a perk like this exists but I think it would be pointless.

I'd prefer a perk/offering that stops it from appearing until the last survivor regardless of gens completed.

Well...besides the killers who want hatch to secure the final kill, you also got killers who give hatch but waste too much time or fail to find hatch to gift it to survivors...so it’s not all bad if killers had the option.
Personally, I’d say, at the very least, Killers should see hatch if last survivor in game is in the dying state or on shoulder. Like base kit, not perk related. The small benefit for killers is they could drop survivor and close hatch for bonus bp or tome stuff, but survivors could get a gifted escape or, when dropped, a final chance to use a perk. Not really hurting either side and promotes positive opportunities more so then negative ones.
If we were talking perks though, I’d say that the hatch briefly highlights when a killer kicks a gen (after it spawns), so you gotta pay attention, hunt it down still and then mentally remember the location per usual. This gives killers multiple chances to find it but also not hold their hands. If you don’t want it to be strong too. If you wanna make it viable, then also add that closing the hatch will make you undetectable for x amount of seconds.

What if this was added as an extra ability to Bitter Murmur? It doesn't seem to do enough at this state so giving it the Left Behind ability doesn't seem so bad

as long as the other 2 perks for the killer are more meta... I don't see people complaining...

I wanted to add a perk for the hatch and created a concept for it on one of my chapter ideas.
Though there's really no point in adding a hatch perk. No good killer would run it because they would rather get value from all 4 perks. No bad player will run it because they'd rather use perks like NOED instead.
I think if they did it right then it would be a decent FREE perk for killer. At least it will be used by new players who don't have a lot of options in terms of perks yet. It might also teach them areas where the hatch likes to spawn.

Not like 99% of perks are getting used in the first place so I don't see how this one would be any different.
Might as well make the 10 people who want Remember Me for hatch happy.

It's unnecessary imo. It's a perk that would only help you when the match is already won.
Look at Left Behind - it shows the hatch's aura and it's got to be one of the least popular perks in the game. Why? Because it's always better to use perks that help you win in the first place, instead of requiring the match to essentially be over already before it gives you any benefit.
Besides, what's the big deal? If you killed 3 and the 4th got hatch, so what? You won already anyway.

Why would you need to waste a slot on this? So dumb... people need to seriously be spoon fed answers.... unreal.
All you have to do is slug the 3rd person, and look for the 4th... if you didn't realize this by now, killers can hold a game hostage quite easily if you just have the patience to do so... this happened to me and there's no way out of it... you basically just die and that's it.
Once you down both players make sure to immediately pick up the 4th person (because they might have unbreakable) and by that point the 3rd person will have already tried to use theirs... go find the hatch, close it, and pick up the 3rd person... GG...hatch problem solved.

It would be cool to have a perk where the hatch is like 25% louder so you can hear it better, since survivors have a perk to actually see it

I'm sure people know that's a possibility but just don't want to. Its not fun to walk around or lay on the ground while the game could be over.

I think that would be a nice addition, almost every survivor/killer perk as a similar one or one that "counters" it on the other side

Lately I haven't seen many killers giving hatches. They seem to be mad and kill the last survivor regardless. Why? Probably survivors are too entitled and makes too much demands. Survivors really deserve to die.
However killer may use the perk to give the hatch. But also, which killer brings that perk just to give out hatches.

Hatch should be replaced with a final chase mechanic imo.
As soon as one survivor remains, the EGC starts and The Entity blocks the gates, but also slowly opens them for you. Last long enough against the killer and get a form of Adrenaline as the exits open for you (Speed, Health state, and Endurance). Depending on how many gens were completed, a set amount of pallets will respawn as well, giving you a fighting chance.
Lastly, if you get downed before the gates open, The Entity stops opening the gates and the killer can mori you.
