List of things that require a nerf
Regardless of all the doom and gloom on these forums, balance-wise I believe the devs are trending in a positive direction.
Maps were for a long time one of the biggest balance issues in the game. There are are still some awful maps (Sheltered Woods, Lampkin Lane), but overall they seem to be improving.
Moris got their much deserved nerf.
But there are still a number of things that need attention.
1) Red ring spirit. Off the top of my head I think this add on is the most imbalanced thing in the game right now. I believe the devs want to remove "I-win" buttons from the game? In that case, this add on needs to be changed.
2) Keys. Just make it so either the hatch doesn't spawn until after all the generators are finished OR only one person may leave through the hatch.
3) One-shot Huntress and One-shot Clown add-ons. I was honestly shocked that the one-shot clown addon wasn't changed during his rework. These add-ons are so boring to go against in solo queue. It's always the same. Huntress downs the first player with one shot and then camps the unsavable hook. Boring.
4) SWF. I don't play SWF. I know SWF is important to this game. Without it, the game dies. However, right now a big issue with the game is killer queue times. For that reason, I believe killer players should see if they are facing an SWF. The devs already made it so you can't change killer mid-lobby, so the issue of seeing an SWF and changing to red ring spirit isn't an issue anymore.
5) Blood point grind. There are 22, almost 23 killers in the game. I have 4500 hours in the game. I've played a lot, and I still feel the grind. There are a few options:
a) addon sell-back. Sell back add-ons you don't want to use for blood points
b) remove perk tiers. Why has this not been done already?
c) give killers even more of a bloodpoint reward after each game. I know they already receive more, but it's pretty obvious there needs to be more incentive to play killer.
6) Blight 180 turn. People can debate whether it is an exploit or not. I don't care if it is or it isn't. What I care about is balance. It isn't balanced.
7) Dead Hard. How long has it been since the server update? It shouldn't take this long to fix one of the most used perks in the game.
8) Maps. I mentioned it before, but feel it needs to be mentioned again. Face a good nurse on a farm map? You may have a chance to escape. Face a good nurse or spirit on Sheltered Woods or the Saloon? You lose. Face a good survivor team on Lampkin Lane or one of those big farm maps? You lose. I understand why the devs want maps of different styles and size, but keep working on making them as different-but-equal as possible, please.
There are of course other things, but these are some of the biggest balance issues that are in the game right now.

I agree with all of these bar the addon sell back. This would just incentivise getting the same addons such as scalped top knots or iri heads

Id say as an Oni Main you not including top knot for a much needed nerf is a huge oversight It's actually broken. Id honestly compare it to old Insta Saw with the old Tinkerer bonus it deserves a very much needed nerf.

I haven't really used Oni too much lately. Didn't really occur to me to add it to the list. I'll try a game with that add on later tonight to refresh my memory.

Watch a ScottJund video with him using ScottKnot and you'll understand it is in no way fair trust me but do test it yourself as well. Top Knot and Lion Feng Have fun

How that and plague’s rubbing oil are still in the game is questionable to me
