Really want to practice with Nurse but I get rushed every time. Any tips or suggestions on builds/strategies? She seems very map dependant.

    I use Corrupt/Ruin/Undying/Retribution.

After 5min i have no perks anymore, but atleast i could practice blinks in this time. Retribution makes it easier to not lose survivor and to land some blinks.

Nurse on Console is a nightmare, so just be prepared for that.

I like to use PGTW, Corrupt, Surge and I'm All Ears (or BBQ).

A switch to connect mouse and keyboard,

    lemon balm tea

    5.1 headphones

Padded cell in case you snap

Or just play anything before you get deppresed

Thanks for the ideas, really wish she had an Ultra Rare addon that ignored fatigue until you missed if you got a precise blink. That'd probably be too OP in the right hands though. It'd also be nice if matchmaking didn't seem to think I need to go against sweaty red rank gen rushers as I'm only rank 10 and falling as I play her lol

My current console nurse build is Whispers / Shadowborn / Infectious Fright / Bbq or Ruin.

You'll notice that I personally like using tracking perks and that's because I'm pretty confident in my ability to down people and just need to be able to find them quickly. If her bugs feel like screwing me over on a particular day then I'll just throw on ruin to buy myself a bit of extra time.

If you're just trying to learn her then I suggest stacking 2 or 3 slowdown perks like Ruin/Undying or Corrupt/Pop so you have more time to practice her and have more chases and you can try using I'm All Ears to learn survivor patterns better when they vault like how they move and what mindgames they might try to do. You can also use Shadowborn which is kind of a double edge sword. When I was first learning her a couple years back it helped me immensely with easing into the feel of Nurse. It's extremely addicting though because it feels so nice to run. Eventually I stopped using it because I didn't really need it anymore and realized there was better stuff to run. Then I took a break and came back and I was ass so now I run it again. I think it's about time I took it off again though but like I said it's addicting.

You can also try using her plaid flannel add-on but I don't really recommend using it for more than one or maybe two games. You just want to get a general idea of how her blinks work and how far they go with it. It's not good to use to practice chases because it messes with your concentration.

Other than that most people will tell you not to run any add-ons because it will mess with your muscle memory, but this is only partly true. You can still use things like blink recharge and even fatigue reduction and you should still be fine because even after you learn her these will be the add-ons you run most of the time anyways. If you have a hard time tracking survivors after you hit them then metal spoon can help with that too.

Another tip I have is to try playing at a high sensitivity. You want to at least be able to play at something like 60+ (especially if you have crossplay enabled) (Mine is 70). Which brings me to my next point. You might want to turn off crossplay while you practice her. It's really up to you but pc players will usually be alot better at knowing how to run a Nurse than a console player would. This is because Nurse is a bit more frequent on pc so naturally the survivors had more time to develop their "counterplay" against her. It's really up to you though whether you want to learn how to counter their "counterplay" now or later.

Anyways good luck and don't hesitate to ask about anything else because I love helping aspiring console nurse players. (I'm sure the essay gives that away)

Best perk build in my opinion for any platform - BBQ and Chilly/Starstruck/Distressing/Nurses Calling

Can confirm, this guy helped me. I'm more partial to the slugging nurse now but when I started I had to run aura and gen slow down perks.

I was lucky because I started learning her before crossplay.

1st started, ruin, pop, I'm all ears, sloppy. Now, deerstalker, bbq, infectious, nurses calling.

I also took a couple months off, now I am indeed ass. LOL

Let them troll and bully, keep calm and practice on them. You will get it, not impossible.
