Spine Chill
I recently got Spine Chill on Dwight (all of my survivors are low level, no teachable perks yet), and got it up to Tier 3. I was wondering what the best Killer detection perk might be, and I certainly found it. Tier 1 range is garbage (by the time it activated, the killer has found you already), but Tiers 2 and 3 are awesome. I've had several games now where Spine Chill would activate and I can move to a new spot by the time the killer gets there (doesn't really work on Doctor though). I've had a few games where there were 2 of us on one generator, and Spine Chill would activate, so I would creep away, while the killer finds and chases the other survivor (in one game, the other person didn't know the Spirit was a killer). If the survivor tries to loop nearby, I can just watch the killer being looped while repairing the generator at increased speed thanks to Spine Chill. This would be an excellent combo with Technician, so the killer might miss you entirely.

Yup. It's a good one. I run it on a Meg with Sprint Burst and Urban Evasion. It's saved my arse many times.
Been meaning to try running Spine Chill with a few other similar perks (Mystic Meg?) like Premonition and Dark Sense, but haven't gotten around to it yet. When running only one of that type, Spine Chill is definitely my favourite.

Spine Chill is a really good way to counter a lot of killer stealth tactics. It gives you a lot of information, for example if you are healing behind something and it lights up then a killer definitely has Nurse's Calling. It's also useful for juking a Nurse in a jungle gym or something, since if it's dark then she's not going to blink in that direction.

Premonition > Spine Chill.... Slightly they are both "what do you.prefer more" perks0

I think it's a waste of a perk slot unless you are new.0

Premonition > Spine Chill.... Slightly they are both "what do you.prefer more" perksNo SC is way better than Prem. Prem has a cooldown, SC does not. Prem tells you where the killer is, SC tells you what the killer is focused on. The former is easy AF to do without any perks 90% of the time, but the later is almost impossible to do unless you are getting chased and you KNOW the killer is focused on you. SC gives you way more information than Prem that you can't get otherwise.

Spine Chill saved my ass so many times. Especially againts Freddy.0

Spine chill gives more information but premonition is easier as it gives you an audible warning, spine chill just lights up and some people don't pay attention to it.0

Oh and it helps with gens by increasing speed and more great skillcheck opportunities (or annoy Freddy) it has a ton of utility.3 -

Spine Chill saved my ass so many times. Especially againts Freddy. There has only been a few times where Spine Chill has failed me. Twice against the Pig. I saw Spine Chill light up, so I was crouching facing the direction I was sure she went waiting to see her in the distance, when all of a sudden, I see black hairs to the left of my character, lol. The second time, I had an RBT on, and I was checking the Jigsaw Boxes (check one, then go hide and wait for the Pig to go away), when I got to the third box, I checked it, and I saw Spine Chill activate, I was sure she was coming from the right, so the second it was done, I ran to my left...right into her (my camera was facing the right).

In my opinion greatest perk in the game! When I first played this game I only used spine chill. Still use it to this day! (meta who? Meta what?)0

Is there a certain player you have to play to get spine chill? Or can any player get it on their blood web?

Yes Spine Chill is a great perk because it allows you to pinpoint where's the Killer and what hes going to do, and helps a lot against stealth Killers. I don't use it anymore because there's better choices.
Now the "let the Killer chase the other survivor while I stealth away" part is questionable, hope you're not a spinechill&urbanevasion gamer.
Anyway, don't play so immersed, stealth in this game rewards nothing in most situations (useful in some), the most efficient way is to loop the Killer to buy time for you teammates do what they need to do(generators, unhooks, healing, ...).

You can get it with any Survivor, Spine Chill is not a teachable perk.
