(PC) Is using game filters to increase brightness cheating?

I play on low settings to have as high of an fps as possible but also because, for whatever reason, the game is brighter on low settings. This is especially handy for the newly updated maps as they tend to be very dark. I would like to use brightness filters to make it more bright but I'm worried that people might be upset or that I could be banned. Is using brightness filters considered cheating? And could I be banned if I use them?

Pretty sure stuff like this is not bannable (just like stretched res) or reportable? since it’s not really detectable by the game itself and doesn’t change game files or something like that. and you can’t really report someone for doing it (if they don’t stream themselves that is), because no evidence..

Brightness of the screen is at ones own digression, usually before you put filters check your monitor settings to see if you can increase brightness there first
