Healing Problem PS4

So, there is this weird thing that happens if two people try to heal someone at the same time. It stops you from healing the person the same as if they moved. I am thinking this must be due to the character being moved into animation or something, and the game treats it as though the player moved. So you have to let one person start, and then go second or vice versa. What is up with this?
