Chapter Idea: Rogue AI
Killer Idea
The Mind
An AI initially programed to quickly locate injured person and provide optimal medical service; however, its creator uploaded their mind into the system, taking it over before taking their own life. A soul with no body, the Entity provides them with many.
Power: Hive Mind
Spawned attached to each generator throughout the map are sarcophagi containing robotic Bodies that The Mind can inhabit. The Bodies each have a unique Sigil on their chest matching a Sigil on the Sarcophagus. All Bodies at the start of the match are Offline. Bodies are brought Online the Mind has uploaded to that Body. Once more than one Body has been brought Online, The Mind can instantly switch control to any Online Body. Bodies can be brought Hacked temporarily by survivors, bringing them Offline temporarily by interacting with the Sarcophagus with the matching Sigil. The Mind is unable to upload to Offline Bodies. Bodies can be brought Self-Destructed permanently by survivors by interacting with the Sarcophagus with the matching Sigil after the generator it is attached to has been completed.
FORM I: Artificial Soul
The Mind starts out with no body, being just an invisible figure unable to interact with anything, only being good for surveillance, moving very fast and being undetectable. In this form, The Mind can Upload to any Body from anywhere on the map instantly.
FORM II: Robotic Body
Once inhabiting a body, the killer moves at an average rate with an average terror radius.
While in this form, The Mind can upload to other bodies only when within range. Uploading takes a moment, but after two or more robotic bodies come online, The Mind can switch between them instantly. When not in a chase, only the body in which The Mind is using gives off a Terror Radius, while in a chase, all Activated Bodies give off red stains as well as ½ size Terror Radiuses.
The Mind has a power bar, limiting them to a certain amount of times they can switch between active bodies before a cooldown occurs. While in Form I, no action will deplete the power bar. While in Form II, switching will deplete the power bar by x amount while bringing a new body online will deplete the power bar by twice that amount.
I have another post of a year's worth of perks for survivors and killers so if you want some perk ideas you can find those here:
