Anyone else starting to be miserable as killer?

I got back into the game pretty recently after stopping for a couple years. I play both sides in purple ranks but have just started to not have fun as killer. I've had a lot of games where I'm matched with red rank toxic swf teams and it just makes the game not fun at all. Im fine with losing but to also lose pretty badly and then get flooded with ######### talking messages just kinda ruins the experience. There are also some lobbies you just have to dodge unless you want an even worse time (for example I had a lobby with all players having the same name, all were meg in the same outfit, and all had keys). I've really liked killer in the past, even when I lose I still would have fun but lately it's just kinda...not.

I uninstalled weeks ago for this very reason. I keep starting the install again and then stopping it and then restarting it and then stopping it and so on as I go back and forth whether I actually want to try again.

I loved playing this game (and I played a LOT) but being killer was just downright miserable more often than it wasn't. Just too many SWF groups who not only want to win at any cost but specifically go out of their way to make it as miserable as possible for the killer. The teams who get you to chase them with their Head On teammates hiding in lockers they run you by, 4 Rotting Oak offerings (or whatever those are called) and hook breaking perks, 4 flashlights with macros so they can turn themselves into walking strobe lights; the list is endless.

I want to give the game another chance as no one does this kind of game but everytime I think about it, I remember that for every actual good game, there are more that just are not fun (in both ways where I either just demolish my opponents or get demolished as described above). Getting the "win or lose by the skin of my teeth" games became as rare as a Dwight sighting outside a locker...

Not really, I still get 3 to 4K more than 75% of my games if I play with Myers and Jigsaw (the ones I main) and when I dont I rarely feel frustrated because it was either they were more skilled or the map that did me in, the skill one I can only blame myself, the map while frustrating it gets balanced with the amount of times I won because of the map too so I take it as a trade off.

If Im playing a Killer I rarely play its normal I perform poorly so I dont really mind either.

Most of my killer experience isn't great. I could deal with the toxic players and the broken builds, but what's really hurting is the sheer lack of gameplay. I play any killer other than Blight, Nurse or Spirit and it's hold W time. Every pallet is predropped except maybe shack. No-one tries to loop, no-one tries to do anything but predrop pallets and hold that W key really hard. And then, on the off chance they somehow didn't do gens fast enough, out come the second chances to ruin the remainder of my day.

Fun, engaging gameplay. I've stopped playing even remotely nice to survivors that do that, there's just no point. It's too strong and too... Tunnelly/campy.

Ugh, it's not even the strength of the pallet half the time. I can't really bait out stuns because of my ping (70 for me Vs <20). I get hit from metres away from the pallet because on the survivors screen I wasn't doing a quick bait-shuffle, I just walked right into it.

Gotta love playing against people that live on top of the servers.

Don't feel bad, the game is just stacked against killers by design.

Aren't those all anti loop killers and pre dropping pallets are a strategy against them?

I mostly get miserable killer games. It makes games that I win more rewarding.

Dropping pallets and holding W agasint those three is the easiest way to hand them a win there is aside from letting go of the controls and making a sandwich.

yeah ive had fun with him but it's just survivors themselves that has made it a lot less fun regardless of what killer I play and how I play:/

Whichever role you play, it's gonna miserable, especially due to the our kind matchmaking.
