Understanding Meyers

So I have had the situation a few times now where I play Meyers and towards the end of the match all survivors left have a read aura and no longer charge evil within. Does this mean they cannot be stalked for the remainder of the match or is there like a cooldown time? If it is the remainder of the match is there any other killer who has a mechanic like this because it feels a little extreme.

    I think it is like that for the remainder of the match yeah. So you basically have a limited amount of use of Evil Within tier 3. there are addons that circumvent this issue a little bit (permanent tier 3, or those that increase the stalk rate or what’s it called)

    i don’t think any other power works like that. Closest may be Freddys teleport because once gens are all done he can’t teleport anymore. Or pigs trap, she can’t reload and once gens are done they don’t even serve a purpose if they weren’t already in use. Both of those killers have a secondary power though.

    I hope he will get some QoL adjustments once they rework his addons (I think it has been confirmed at least that they are looking into his addons)

    I hope so too, because I could understand if the survivors hit a point of not being able to be stalked but it would regress over time. Not being able to build tier 3 for a remainder of match seems a little much.

    Yes, every survivor has 10 "stalk" points that can be absorbed from them, so a total of 40 per match. Getting from Tier 1 to Tier 2 takes 5 points, and Tier 2 to 3 takes another 5 points. Once Tier 3 runs out you have to charge another 5 points to get it again. So the max amount of times you can reach Tier 3 is 7 times, assuming you absorb every single point available and don't use any addons.

    Of course if you kill a survivor then those points are gone, so you have to take that into account. Most times Meyers can only get 3-4 Tier 3s.

    If he does get a secondary moveset, I would like to see something of his stalk, analyze then attack, they could rework the tombstone to change the way he uses his moveset, in terms of different abilities, considering he is pure evil, not much is known of him, but as you can see, not much can stop him, he doesn't need to run to catch you, would be cool to get something in reference of the first or 2018 movie.
