Too unsure about what to do here, need some help

I've been going through a pretty bad shard of life where I kinda just really hate a lot of the people around me and overall I have a very short temper when it comes to other people's actions, and just 1 rotten fields flashlight crew has made me extremely mad to the point it feels like my entire body has been in an oven and I'm really close to breaking something. I love this game so I can't really decide if it's time to take a break until I'm in a better general mood, I was hoping some of you guys could help me decide, sorry that I'm asking a question like this but I'm in a very unsure and hateful time of my life and I need more input on what to do here. Take a break or keep trying to play?

I’d say take a break from the game. No new content until next week anyway 1 week can make a huge difference

A break really would be a good idea. When you realize your limits, you can pause and work towards calming down. Everytime you feel like you're reaching boiling point, take yourself away from what's causing it. Breaks really do make a difference. You can then go back into the game once you feel better.

Playing in your current state will only make it worse, best to bow out now and take some time to think.

Why are you getting do tilted?

    Can it be avoided?

Look this isn't the place for it, however if you're going through personal issues and need someone just to talk to let me know

Take a break, play a game that will relax you instead of annoy you. Come back once you're in a better headspace.

Just happened the same to me, the exact same thing. I've returned to play the game again only recently and i'm already boiling. Can't stand to face premade crews in low ranks and get trash talked after because i was too weak for them. Take a Break. I'm going to do the same probably.

Sorry to hear that you get trash talked. I'm not a high rank Survivor, but I understand the Killer's POV where you're just trying to get your objectives done and things go sideways. These issues are on both sides. Like you said, a break would be a good idea. You don't have to completely quit if you do like the game and want to get through a match. Also from when I've played Killer, I usually try and think of what I need to do to adapt if I don't get any hooks or kills. Thinking of it as a learning curve can be useful. You can turn your anger into learning and you'll see improvements. Good luck.

Its gotten to me too. I'm not just playing in the most toxic way as killer, had a number of survivors dc. I've lost all sympathy. If people want to play toxic then they'll get toxic.

I have to say it's funny when the 4 man ttv crew rolls in with all the best items and 2 bnp, you get the 4k and they start crying after the game. Aww why so sad, no highlight reel for you?

If I personally have a Killer who wants to slug all 4, including me, I don't DC like the other 3 did. That's tempting, but it actually gives points to the Killer and I lose the progress I made. A different match had all 3 disconnect on purpose, so I just had a stareoff with a Wraith who was just as confused as me. I let him get hits and down me, then he let me wiggle free, do 1 gen and then gave me the hatch. Those are what help me get through tougher matches where it feels hopeless. I really do understand where you're coming from where you think that you need to return the toxicity back, but hopefully you get some better games where you can relax more and not need to use that, if the Survivors are just playing the game normally. 👍

Like everyone else said, take a break. It's blatantly obvious that you need to take a break from this game if flashlights have caused you to get that out of control. Think about picking up another hobby or game, or go for walks which is the absolute best way to calm down and start thinking straight again.

Thanks for the help guys, I appreciate it. It's always nice to have reminders that not everyone here in DBD is bad.
