I think Clown's chase music is the best in the game.

Was it toned down? Last I played Clown, his music sounded like a bunch of tin clanging that overpowered every other sound in the game. The rest is incredible and it plays in my head throughout the day.

Both of those exist to intentionally make it harder to track Survivors.
The black cloud exists on the Survivors side also, when someone gets hooked. It lets the Killer move away without anyone far away seeing which direction they're going.
