I dig the cyan look.

Randomly stumbled upon this on youtube. Good editing work.

I like that they are doing more than just fnaf, honestly I want to see what a Resident Evil( Both of Racoon City, and maybe the Baker estate), or F13, maybe even one about Candyman

The devs need to reach out to this content creator, the gameplay looks a bit odd but this is amazing! I'm curious to how they've gotten the exact dbd model to mess around with like that
2 -
Agreed, this guy has done amazing work, and honestly it suprises me
1 -
Oof, they messed up the idle animation for the menu.
Seems they cut off the last few frames, or told the animation to loop too early and didn't grab the last few frames for the loops transition.
FERAL FRENZY THAT CAN DOWN. Are you trying to make Legion mains cry? You're making Legion mains cry.

But how is he using the game model like that? He must have unreal engine or something I'm sure but how can you have a dev model of this game to just do what you want with? There's no way he's created everything from scratch there he's definitely using some kind of test model he can alter
0 -
More likely its unreal engine, however it is possible of that as well. Another aspect is that he could be making like POV with Aliens hands but the rest is probably from scratch. But that would mean he spent at least a few weeks worth of work on this or more

UDK.
Unreal packages games into multiple files that are, for simplicity sake, similar to zip folders. Last I remember, three of them. Within them, the assets for the game are stored and encrypted. UDK, which is the Unreal Development Kit, can unpackage these and allow you to export them as normal files for everyday use.
Even if you don't have UDK (the creator of the video clearly did), you can still easily get hold of programs that will unpack those folders and automatically export files you want into more common file formats. It's very common in the sound mod community, where they gather sound files from games and use them for mods in other games.

I like how in this fanmade version it's easier to see survivors, scratchmarks, auras and killer instinct, better lighting, and the chase music doesn't drown out sounds.
Behaviour you should hire this guy, he's clearly able to make a better version of your own game.

This killer would be top tier due to the fact it has mobility. No way would the devs make a killer of this caliber AGAIN! The survivors would hook suicide the kill rates so high like we've never seen.
No disrespect to the devs or anyone else. I just KNOW A GOOD comp level killer is a thing of the past.

Why does this look better than current macmillian?
4 -
Looks awesome. Reminds me of that nostalgic Macmillan estate blue vibe. Lightning effects are sweet. When does actual dbd get some ambience and dynamic weather?
1 -
Looks superb
If only.....
1 -
For some reason it looks better then the actual game strangely
1 -
It's because of the lightning and weather effects.
Creates a lot of atmosphere but would also make my PS4 explode in 1000 pieces considering the poor optimization :(
1 -
He posted it on Reddit with info of the engine he used etc. Very nice job

When optimization is an actual thing in DbD.
Maps like Red Forest with the rain is already dropping frames for me and things like getting hit by Noed or Sloppy Butcher even freezes my screen for a second

I used to have issues on more than recommended specs on steam. I went into the config and disabled v-sync. As well as capping my framerate to 144 on my graphics card settings for dbd. Haven't had any microstuttering from noed/sloppy/doctor shocks/clown gas etc. Worth a shot

Presentation is top-notch, but the Killer power itself looks like a pretty dece example of why Blight needs to bounce off a wall before being allowed to Lethal Rush. Plus, the perks seem pretty whack. Still, I'd certainly love to see more from this channel.
It certainly looks great, but I feel like it would be very difficult to see in when actually playing the game.

They are likely using different shaders than the actual game does, which allows them to tailor them to their needs and liking. This can change how lighting looks within the game, how lighting interacts with material maps on objects and textures, as well as particle effects.

I'm on console :]
But thanks for the tip regardless

Oh yeah I agree with you, I meant the aesthetics.
No way that killer would be released that op.

I have an xbox one s and do experience those issues. Not sure why they can't create a good stable console version. Silly.
0 -
Yeah, aesthetically, this looks really cool. Gameplay-wise...well, aesthetically, it looks really cool. :)
0 -
I don't know either.
Especially when BHVR said they are aiming for stable 60 FPS on console back in march 2019
0 -
Yeah I remember requesting an Alien version of that FNAF lobby!
Aesthetically it looks really cool! I hope it turns out to be like the Silent Hill situation where everyone said it’s unlikely due to Konami...

Sounds amazing. I'd love for this to be in the game! BHVR could maybe reuse some of the models that they did for Demogorgon.

This is amazing. I love everything about it but I think the perks are not good.
