please tell me this is just an accident and not people cheating somehow...
btw: I had to block the names and the trash can was the first more vertical sticker that the ps4 allowed me to use.

That is really weird. It does look like really bad internet problems, but usually the game crashes with an error message when it gets that bad.

The longer it goes on, the more suspicious it looks, but I've never seen anything like that, so I don't know.
One of the things that makes it seem suspicious to me is that, once you get to the stage where you're stuck carrying the Dwight forever, no one else seems to react to that -- not even by pointing or memeing or anything. The David, in particular, just keeps trying to provoke you and get you into a chase where you can't catch him because you're at carrying speed. The David also seems to always be there when something weird starts happening, and he seems to appear at weird times and pick himself up very quickly when he's down.

It's lagswitching and it's cheating. See when you pause it as David comes out of the locker? it shows his ping, its 1020ms which is the maximum the game shows.
Every once in a hundred games you may get a random lag spike that stops you hooking a survivor once that happens, but when it's like this and its the same survivor or same 2 survivors doing it again and again throughout the game it's obvious the problem is them, not you nor the servers.
Notice how they don't lag until they're about to be hit. Then they lag out which stops you from picking them up or hooking them. It's a known exploit. Submit a ticket to support and send them this video.
