I just found this clip of a streamer i watch: https://clips.twitch.tv/SleepyDarkRingRuleFive-hhZDkciRnzarefPr. Was this because of lag or was it a bug?

    That could be hit validation doing it's thing

    Hit validation was introduced to deal with the issue of VPNers/People with high ping having advantages
