Survivor unhooked if the killer grabs unhooking survivor

This happened to me a few days ago. I interrupted an unhook by grabbing the survivor, even though that survivor went straight into the dying state and onto my shoulder for the carry the survivor on the hook was still unhooked.
I thought it was very strange but had no video recording of it. Coincidentally I have seem it happen to someone else today on twitch

You can see that although he interrupts the grab the Feng continues to get unhooked anyway.
