Using Deathslinger on console is very hard?
Pc players have such more of an advantage over console players using Deathslinger because on a controller it is very hard to be accurate especially in a game like dbd where if you miss 1 or 2 shots it will cost you a lot of time and survivors can easily dogy you on a controller and the rest of thr team just does gens

It’s harder but he’s still definitely viable and learnable

Its harder, but not hard. If you've got any experience with first person shooters he feels natural while if you don't he may be hard to learn.

He’s one of my mains and I’m on PS5. I don’t struggle with him but I’ve been playing shooting games since I was a child.

I agree with @Phasmamain
He's harder to learn on console, but definetely playable

I accidentally went into Call of Duty mode last night with Deathslinger. Tried hitting someone using R3 (melee) instead of R2 and was confused why I didn't swing at them

Yep he still is a good killer but on a controller you will probably miss 1 or 2 more shots per game then pc which gives the survivors time to restart a loop or continue working on gens

Swap melee with crouching. That helps alot in COD.

Does deathslinger has auto aim on console like on GTA5? Or u have to use your controller to actually aim? I never used controller to play FPS except GTA5 and I can't imagine how to aim without autoaim

You get used to it. If anything I'd say he's the easiest ranged killer to use. All you need to worry about is where the middle of the screen is while chasing.

You have to fully aim him yourself. There's no auto-aim (GTA5) or aim-assist (CoD. It doesn't lock onto enemies, but kinda "drags" across them)
The way I do it is a place the survivor in the center of my screen normally, bring my gun up, and as soon as I'm able to I fire. I don't try and aim with the gun itself because it accelerates weird and throws me off, so I go for snap-shots and can hit them fairly regularly
What's funny is I haven't played CoD in years. But nah, I like keeping my melee on the stick because my thumb is there already from aiming, so it's much faster than having to move my thumb to the crouch button to melee. I also don't do drop-shots, and I know most people do, so I've gotten used to aiming at people's legs, haha

It seems with Deathslinger on console you have to have pinpoint laser accuracy or else you will miss. Even when I have them in center of my sights I still miss a lot.

I don't know man because I use a controller on PC mostly and I've always been good with him.
I recently switched to mouse and keyboard for the blight and the huntress and do way better with them but with death slinger I can't hit the broad side of a barn with my mouse

If you can play COD, you can play Gunslinger. If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a Gunslinger. If you can dodge me, then I guess you DC'd. That is all. XD

I think first person shooters have better control sensitivity than this game has, so I don't think it's that simple.

Deathslinger does not have auto aim. You will have to manually aim like in Call of Duty.

It's harder to be as precise with your shots on console, especially since on most loops you can only see the survivor's head popping up, so you have to aim to hit that tiny target while also controlling the movement of your character.

Excuse me, ahem, hi, uh, p3 console Deathslinger here... uh.... What are you smoking?
Just practice, and I promise you'll be making great shots with the Call of Duty Killer. Just bring your reload addons, learn when to quickshot and when to fake out, and sometimes just get close for a hit. I promise, those survivors will zig zag to avoid your gun, and that gives you so much time to get in close.

Deathslinger on console is no different to playing any FPS on console. No different to playing Call of Duty tbh.

If you've ever played any FPS games on console than no he's not really that hard on console, using a controller for FPS games has become so natural for me.

Same as with Nurse and other killers just practice and you can be just as good as the best PC-players. Blight on the other hand..

This happened to me when I went from playing Killing Floor 2 back to DBD. I kept trying to throw grenades at survivors. 🥴🤣

Its not hard lmao, person used to controller is as good as mouse one. Even better maybe. Its not about platform

I come from an FPS background so i don't find too hard but still challenging. It just takes time.

As long as you're on target for the insta ads you'll hit. MArk the center of your screen, trust me.

From what I remember Mclean saying a while back.
"People kept saying 'why can't the beam be center of the screen', so we changed it and now people don't want it". Might not be 100% accurate but I remember him answering that on his stream a while back/

Then aim better. I have no issues with him.

Honestly.
When I switched from PC to PS4, I had an easier time playing nurse than I did on PC. That's why I saw that console doesn't make a difference.

It is not hard to play deathslinger on console I just keep my sensitivity at a good level.

In theory, no, it should be about the same.
You can't flick, but you shouldn't need to.
The issue is that the FPS drops and the game freezes when you ADS.
