Do you choose lobby as killer? or anything goes ?

Casual console player here just levelling up killers , I tend to find matches and go ahead with the ones that seem not so toxic. Anyone here so the same ?

How many times you all have to back out and search for a new match before playing an actual match ?

If I see more than 2 flashlights I am out , also same goes for more than 1 or 2 toolbox I am out ( unless I am in the mood of using franklin demise) If I see then all ready up right away I am out...similar names I am out, all same characters I am out . Anyone here as picky as I am ? Lol

I only doge a lobby when I see a key simply because I dont like to have to manage both gens and find hatch and defend it as well.

You and I see flashlights in the complete opposite way mate. If I see one or more flashlights I get happy, because that means a survivor or two will just run after me all game not doing gens.

Personally the only thing I can dodge is keys when I'm not feeling it today, or Medkits when I'm doing an antiheal build or using a killer like Oni. Otherwise anything goes.

So just because people are bringing items you like to waste your and all their times? Bringing items is nothing close to toxic, but this is. You are trying to punish people for playing the game the way it is intended. If that's too much for you bring addons, don't resort to childish tricks like this.

Eh for the most part I don't really care who I play against or what they bring. Sometimes I will dodge a lobby if I see too many defaults because I don't like slaughtering a bunch of newcomers but that's pretty much it.

Usually i alt-tab as killer because im so used to survivor queue times.

When I am paying attention, I pay notice to the outfits the survivors are wearing.

its hard to judge licensed characters, but typically 'toxic' has a look to it. They know they want to be toxic so much, they want to show off it as well. It's so in-your-face that when you're in the match they want you to know that they are trying to make your game miserable, therefore I usually dip to avoid the inevitable end-game chat confrontation regardless of the outcome of the match. (of course its so satisfying when the toxic survivor fails [or even better, dc's])

I don't care most of the time. The only times I'll really dodge is if I see a key, a map and two toolboxes or medkits. That's normally a really tryhard team and if I'm playing nurse on console doing a daily then no thank you. If I'm playing someone I normally play a lot of then I may chance it depending on how spicy I'm feeling.

I'll also dodge if all 4 are using the same character with the same outfit. Not because I'm worried about them being good or toxic but because it gets confusing as all hell trying to keep tabs on who's who and you tend to get ds'd a lot more.

Four blendettes are also a no go unless I'm Doctor or Legion because a 4 man immersive team is one of the most boring things to play against as killer. I'd honestly rather go against a swat team since I'll at least be put out of my misery quickly.

I still don't understand this. I just play whatever I get given, dodging lobbies because you THINK someone is gonna BM you in a videogame based on the clothes they chose for their character is mind-blowing to me. Same with looking at profiles and judging whether or not to dodge based on the hours so you can get an easier game. DbD is the only multiplayer game I can think of that lets you do that.

If you keep doing that you're just gonna become boosted and more than likely end up whining about playing survivors that are out of your league.

If I have to leave a lobby its because these devs are bad at implementing features so you have to go all the way back to matchmaking to set a challenge or look at something on rift/store/anything else aside from settings/loadout/bloodweb.

if I don't have light born on this killer and the lobby is probably a SWF with flashlight I will dodge.

Never dodged a lobby - don't see a need to dodge.

Then again - I like a challenge and don't need to try for an easy/easier win.

Map offerings don't bother me in the slightest. I don't worry about survivor items or offerings. I just go in and do my thing :)

I never dodge a lobby, regardless of what's on show. Ultimately, everything I select is randomized and I've actually gone into matches where the survivors look like a death squad amd actually 4k!

By dodging those lobbies you will miss valuable learning experiences and will most likely not get better at the game; being inexperienced against tougher players.

If you're not so fussed about getting better then dodging is fine. It's just that you're missing out. However, it's not toxic to dodge a lobby in my opinion. It's only toxic to dodge during the game loading up at the start of a trial, resulting in everyone getting booted and waiting longer. Hence why the dc penalties are in.

I play whatever I get. If the survivors look "sweaty" (I don't like the word toxic, the word is used incorrectly) most of the times it turns out to be easier than expected.

I dodge sometimes if I see that someone has a really messed-up display name and I don't want to look at it all game. Otherwise I take whatever randoms I get.

The only reason I've ever skipped a lobby as killer or survivor is because I've forgotten to switch my rift task around to the correct side.

Other than that, I'm up for anything.

If I play one of the Killers I play the most anything goes, if Im playing someone I rarely play for a challenge or a ritual Ill try to avoid only PC 4SWFs.

I just alt tab out of the game once I click search for match and I don't really tab back in until I hear the start-of-match camera spin happening.

So anything goes in other words.

When you see flashlights, try going with Lightborn and Agitation. People can't resist going for flashlight saves, and most of the time won't even catch onto the fact you have Lightborn if you act like you don't have it. Nothing is more satisfying than running someone down with Agitation while carrying someone else lol

If I see matching outfits or hints at a SWF, I'll dodge. If I see a key, I'll dodge.

I'd rather not have to sweat in order to get a decent result. It's miserable for both sides.

I started to choose my opponent recently about a month or 2.

Why do i do it? Because i can. I can choose not play against bully squad because of how quick the queue time is.

Don’t blame me. I play games for fun, not be miserable.

I'll dodge the lobby if I see a key, 3 or more characters that look exactly the same (same cosmetics), or if there's 4 toolboxes.

Usually if I've already had a string of bad games and I see a Key AND a Map. Otherwise I'll take what I'm given. Killer queues aren't very long and even a bad match usually nets a killer at least 15k points.

I never dodge a lobby. Before the mori nerf i sometimes brought a green mori for a key user, but now i just play without mercy.

    Anything goes.

A group of Survivors absolutely destroying me is rare, so i'd rather take my chances.

I click ready asap and then alt-tab to do something else in the meantime. Sometimes if I see too many items I might equip Franklin's Demise but that's it.
