Lobby UI suggestion
I suggest a change to the Cross-Play icon, instead of a simple globe that means nothing in terms of platform, I suggest that using a controller or a mouse icon indicates the platforms better, that way you won't only know that a player is cross-platform, you would also know which platform they're playing from, here's an example:
You may need to zoom in for this one, but you can see that each icon represents a player's choice of platform, huntress is on console, 3 survivors on PC and one of the survivors on console as well, this should also be applied to the lobby too, not just the end game results.
Now you may be saying that players already know who is on console and who is on pc, there aren't 3 ways of playing the game, just PC and console right? Well not exactly, PC players can still play from their computer, but not all of us use the same client (Steam for example) and, let's say that someone who plays from the Xbox Pc app/Microsoft Store, if they meet up with someone who plays from Steam, even though they both use mouse and keyboards, they are still marked with the cross-play icon.
But what's the problem with that? The Microsoft Store client for example, is 50x less popular and used than the Steam client, so for the players who use that app, literally everyone that they played with since they were a lvl 1 baby Dwight had the cross-play icon attached to their name, and I mean everyone, at least in my case, I never met someone who played on the same app as me, the game has like 40 reviews right now on the Microsoft store, and that little cross-play icon is just confusing for everybody.
Let's get to the benefits, this is just a little detail that some might consider insignificant, but for the rest of us that don't use overly popular clients like Steam, it would be game changing, we could finally discuss strategy in the lobby without getting no replies, because we will know who is playing on console and who's playing on pc and we won't waste our time typing and hoping for a reply, or maybe we would know why that Huntress was hitting us with a hatchet from the other side of the map, or maybe if she's on console we will know why 4 people escaped, or maybe people won't annoy us with the question "How the hell can you type" every time we say gg in the end-game chat, I know these are horrible examples but I'm just listing them for the sake of the argument, what people will do with this sort of information is up to them, but that doesn't mean we don't need it.
Like I said, this is a very little detail, but that also means it would be very cheap to implement, and even though it won't matter to like 95% of the player base who use console or PC, for the rest of us using unpopular clients it will be game changing.
Note: I posted something like this before but now I actually came up with a fix to the problem.
