New game Home Sweet Home Survive
what do you think about this new 4v1 game? I ask here because the main idea of the game it’s the same like the one in dbd. I like it more because you can counter the killer in more ways.

It's alright, pretty clunky overall, and all the servers are in Asia so if you live in the US your ping will never be below 160. It definitely doesn't hold a candle to DBD.

I wouldn't exactly call this game a "competitor."

It seems fine as the atmosphere is really good.
But the killer seems really underpowered. I was watching gameplay of the killer and they got 360ed multiple times. You can also attack the killer so that's probably annoying. Also I saw one game in which the survivors chased the killer.

The latency in the game is really bad thanks to there being very few servers.

Umm in DBD survivors are the power role and tend to have control in the matches not the killer so there are plenty of counters...

I belive it won't grow to big especially with it only having asian servers, from the look or it it's pretty survivor sided like just open all the doors you come across and close them in a chase you even have vents and holes only survivors can go through and the holes just end the chase right there.
the hit box for killer is also pretty small it was kinda funny seeing all the hits that should have connected missing like 6 times.

did 2 games as killer and gotta say it's quite fun, worth the try and it's only 7$, my game crash everytime i finish a game but other than this no bugs whatsoever and the optimisation is fine as far as I can tell

The problem with the game is:
1) Only Asian servers.
2) The killer behind a paywall is FAR better than the original... It is like you are just being pushed to spend for that.

Given it's being aimed at an Asian playerbase, you can probably expect a very strong "Pay to Win" model. I'd be cautious with that one.

I live in Europe and the servers are okay, I can’t complain about them.

I live in Europe and the servers are okay for me. It’s at the beggging, but the game will get better.

Look like it's missing something to ba a dbd competitor, not sure what exactly

This game will die quicker than an intruder into Bubba's basement.

Who ? Dbd?

There are servers in eu and na, but only 1 for each, better than nothing and if the game grows they will be able to add more

It looks really really rough and the animations are quite bad.

Well first of all it's horror, so it has my attention at least.
On one hand, I would like to ditch DBD for an alternative.
On the other hand, I could be just getting myself in to another cycle of time wasting.
Weighing things up, I think I'll pass.

With all the big names dbd has, I think it'll take a pretty amazing game to put up some real competition. Dbd has it's problems, but it also has quite a few iconic characters that no other games have that really get people interested. On top of that, some of their original killers (please note: I said "some"... Lol) are just as, if not more, interesting than slashers/villains/killers in other games or even movies. Home Sweet Home Survive just isn't that game if you ask me. It'll take a whole lot more than just being a 4v1 survivor vs. killer game to even begin truly competing with dbd.
That being said, I desperately hope dbd gains some true competition sometime soon
